Good to see foxnews keeping the good jobs report halfway down the page as small as they can get it.

The big question is how and why did the Democrats blow the election? As a year ago, people were asking if the Democrats could control Congress but lost both instead. So was it Obama and his overall Presidency, the dislike of the Health Plan, the way the economy hasn't come back, or something else?

That's so naive and simplistic as young people aren't happy about the lack of jobs available, the high prices of homes, being forced into the health system, that they will rather get charged a penalty than join, being told about the future failings of social security and high taxes that they are paying into, without getting benefits, etc. for starters

And further more, how little the government is doing for young people today, over the more high profile groups like the elderly and various minority groups.

Post Re: Voting Day!
Today's seniors were too busy patting themselves on the back to realize they were being very financially irresponsible during their golden years and were voting in thousands of atrocious politicians who have fucked up the economy royally. Now these same seniors are upset they won't be getting the retirement they kept promising themselves & telling themselves they oh so deserved, so they're charging it to their grand kids credit cards and making them pick up the check when the seniors themselves are long dead. P.S. said politicians and seniors made college way more expensive while also killing the value of it's degree & the job market one is supposed to use the degree in.

Folks like Romney, Ryan et all see the problem and want to fix it while Obama's corrupt ass just stands in the way because the kids cannot vote and the seniors can.

Younger people HATE Obama.

Because outside of the student loan thing, he has been horrible to them. A very large share of the millennial generation is going to become conservative far faster than usual.

One question I have is how have seniors gotten screwed, as opposed to those which first gained and then lost money in the stock market. As so many seniors have made a lot of money on house equity appreciation from real estate, that won't be seen in future generations. I know my parents and parents friends have 100,000 of thousands in the bank in equity or cash from sales of previous house sales or upgrades. Also seniors today have been cleaning up collecting benefits and other things from social security, that future seniors wont be seeing, since there should have been some changes to social security decades ago, to save the system for future generations, including means testing for benefits. But all they have done is keep on increasing the $ that they are taking from current workers, that are far from collecting social security themselves.
