I love this show so much this season. Seriously. It's like A+++++ in terms of quality.

Tonight's episode was amazing, just like every episode this season. I'm going to die without new episodes once the effects of the strike start to show :(

I think I can call tonights episode, the best of the season. Everyone's storylines were great, Victor probably isnt dead but whatever. Gabby was great. Lynette was hilarious. Bree as well. And Susan was fantastic. Teri Hatcher is really brining her A game.

This was Teri Hatcher's best performance since, well, season one.

After seeing the preview for the next two eps, I really think one of the two people that die in the tornado is gonna be either Tom or one of Tom and Lynette's children.

Good episode again tonight.

I loved Bree at the bris.

And Teri Hatcher is doing a good job making Susan less klutzy and awkward than she has been. I do find it somewhat amusing that James Denton is still as bland as ever on this show, even in the fourth season. Hatcher is basically carrying their scenes at this point, because he's not so much up to the acting challenge.

Post Re: The "Desperate Housewives" Thread: Season 4
another amazing episode!!

Susan's storylines have been among the best this season and she keeps delivering episode after episode. I was confused at the last scene though when we see Mike working on that pipe... was he working late or was he unscrewing the thing because he stashed some drugs there?

I'm glad they're not at least dragging this Victor knowing thing out but I'm getting really impatient with this storyline.

Bree and Lynette were hilarious.

I think they need to start incorporating Dana Delany with more of the rest of the cast. Her mystery is starting to the way of the Applewhite's in which all we get are secretive and suggestive scenes within the family. Game Night was great but we need alot more of that. If they plan to keep her on after her mystery is resolved, it's best that they start building some foundations. And if they don't keep her, well, then I'd be disappointed.

Spoiler: show
There were two references to "the game" in this episode which are hints as to who's getting the ax, right? It was Lynette's mom and Mike. I think having one of Lynette's kids killed off would send her storyline to interesting places. They have basically not set up anything else for her but I doubt the two people to die would both be from her family. If the male to get killed off isn't Victor, then I'd say it's either Mike (likely) or Parker (unlikely).

It won't be Mike. It's already been confirmed that neither of the deaths is a series regular.

i'd feel really sorry for the writer who would have to kill off one of Lynette's children.

Then aside from Victor or Parker, the only other expendable males are the gay guys. I'd say Dana Delanye's character's husband but "what he did in Chicago" is still something we don't know so I'd say he's pretty safe.

I figured it out!

Spoiler: show
Since the season it's going to be a short one and there's only three episodes left, they have to resolve the Katherine mystery. So they either kill the daugher and the husband, and keep her alive OR they kill Katherine and the husband and keep the daughter alive. During the tornado, the piece of paper that the grandma wrote is found by the daughter, revealing the secrets.

Boo ya!

They're not going to kill Katherine because:

A) Dana Delany is a series regular
B) Are you crazy? Why would they already get rid of her?

I'm still not feeling Dana Delany or her character. I don't know. It seems like the same thing every year. New character, something evil going on, could be bad, really bad, but it probably isn't after all. Look at Orson! He was like the most evil character ever last season. This year, he's mainly a joke. The first stand he took all season was against the circumcision thing. And even that was done in a comical tone ("Wut? Circumcision? LOL no cutting of the child's penis!")

Other than that, solid episode and a solid season so far.

Tornado possibilities...

Spoiler: show
Even though I think one of Lynette's kids is going to die in the tornado episode, I think it's honestly going to be way too much to add onto Lynette's already full plate. Seriously, after four seasons, she's rivalling Jack Bauer and Tommy Gavin for the "Most Serious and Depressing Shit to Happen to One Person" award.

Spoiler: show
I don't think Delany is a series regular. I'm sure her contract doesn't extend longer than this season, which is about to wrap up in 3 episodes unless the strike ends soon.

Spoiler: show
While she's not listed as a main character on the website, which puzzled me, I doubt very much Marc is getting rid of Delaney anytime soon. She was one of the women he really wanted as one of the original housewives but they couldn't get her at the time.

The resolutions between Bree and Andrew and Lynette and her mom were really nice. And Richard Chamberlain! Heh.

Oh, Gabby. I can't see how Victor doesn't die in the tornado with the fact she's embroiled in yet another blackmail plot.

Mike's addiction storyline is so boring. Can't Susan just dump him and they boot James Denton out of the cast already? He may be attractive, but he is seriously acting-challenged.

The tornado looks intense.

Alright so the previews up here lie, they showed the tornado in this episode. But with that, I'm happy there is another ep to look forward to.

The resolutions between Bree and her Son was the best part of the episode, seriously it's about time. Susan was her usual self, but that pill storyline, gotta go. We know already, for like 3 week's he's been on them, do something Susan. And Um, Victor at the end..holy crap.

Victor was obvious.

Phew that the woman dying isn't Lynette's mom, though. I was worried they were going to go there, which would be kind of depressing. Like, hasn't Lynette been through enough, y'know?

Great episode. It felt a bit disjointed again but that was way overshadowed by the quality turn of the individual storylines.

Andrew-Bree was very well done. Sadly, does that mean we will see less of Andrew? :(

I also loved the Mike blackmailing Katherine's husband and then Katherine's husband blackmailing Orson. Funny stuff.

There's one thing I'm kind of confused with though and I may seem like an airhead or maybe just don't exactly remember all the mystery details from season 3, but.... why, again, did Orson run over Mike? I mean, if he was always innocent in the Monique murder, why did he need to make sure Mike didn't find out. I just feel all fuzzy on that storyline... feels like something they never explained very well.

And yeah, they showed tornado previews 2 weeks ago so I was kinda shocked to not see it in this episode.

And I couldn't resist looking at those spoilers but as soon as I saw the first name, I stopped reading so I'm still dying to know what happens.

Holy. Crap. Was that ever epic. Yes the F/X were hit and miss, but regardless the deaths were fantastic. I knew who died and I was still surprised. The ending was, wow. Best episode of the season, and Teri Hatcher could be getting another nod.
