 Re: 2019 Emmy Nominations Game of Thrones had to win for its worst season as recognition of the series as a whole. Similar to Jackson/LOTT winning for ROTK even if it wasnt the best of the three (though deserving in its own right).

Re: 2019 Emmy Nominations GoT won for Seasons 5-7 as well. It's not like they hadn't won before, like Better Call Saul. That's criminal that Saul hasn't won a single Emmy yet.
