This show is basically American Gladiators and proof that The Rock doesn't care about being overexposed. He's in so much stuff it's insane. Does he even sleep? |

I don't like this show because: 1. It pits competitors against each other 1v1 from what I saw in the first three events 2. Not all competitors are equal so the last event I saw had a much larger guy v a smaller still well built guy but the event seemed in favor of the larger guy imo 3. There's too much set up for each competitor. I couldn't stay tuned and hope it fails. |

American Ninja Warrior is a decent summertime series, light and breezy fare. The Titan Games doesn't have much in common unfortunately. I watched the first hour (which was a full episode) and didn't much care for the setup. For as much charisma as Dwayne Johnson has, it's all but completely missing here. Like he wanted to produce the series, but as the show was about to start filming, they told him he'd host it too. And they all call him "DJ". If you don't want The Rock to be a thing any more, we aren't making DJ a thing either. The competitions aren't much fun either. And everyone on Ninja Warrior looks in shape, but not overtly so. On here, a few of the competitors look to be full of steroids. And at the end of the day, it just isn't very interesting. |
