Anybody watch these?

They're a fun and informative half-an-hour. But you have to like Ayoade and his sense of humour. I've watched over half, but still more to see. Ayoade travels to different cities with a different guest each episode. Some of the guests he's had that you will know are Paul Rudd, Rebel Wilson, Lena Dunham, and Jon Hamm.

I'm keeping a list of the ones I've seen:

Series 1
1. 48 Hours in Barcelona - Kathy Burke
2. 48 Hours in Istanbul - Adam Hills
3. 48 Hours in Iceland - Jessica Hynes
4. 48 Hours in Marrakesh - Stephen Mangan

Series 2
1. 48 Hours in Vienna - Chris O'Dowd
2. 48 Hours in Paris - Mel Giedroyc
3. 48 Hours in Copenhagen - Noel Fielding
4. 48 Hours in Moscow - Greg Davies

Series 3
1. 48 Hours in Seville - Rob Delaney
2. 48 Hours in Venice - Jo Brand
3. 48 Hours in Dubai - Johnny Vegas
4. 48 Hours in Berlin - Roisin Conaty

Series 4
1. 48 Hours in New York - Katherine Ryan
2. 48 Hours in Helsinki - Paul Rudd
3. 48 Hours in Lisbon - Adam Buxton
4. 48 Hours in Naples - Jack Dee
5. 48 Hours in Florence Christmas Special - Rebel Wilson

Series 5
1. 48 Hours in Saint Petersburg - Rob Beckett
2. 48 Hours in Budapest - Aisling Bea
3. 48 Hours in Tenerife - Lena Dunham
4. 48 Hours in Miami - Rhod Gilbert

Series 6
1. 48 Hours in Rome - Matt Lucas
2. 48 Hours in Valencia - Sara Pascoe
3. 48 Hours in Amsterdam - Joe Lycett
4. 48 Hours in Stockholm - Sally Phillips
5. 48 Hours in Hong Kong Christmas Special - Jon Hamm

Series 7
1. 48 Hours in Brussels - Lee Mack
2. 48 Hours in Oslo - Fay Ripley
3. 48 Hours in Madeira - Robert Webb
4. 48 Hours on the Cote d'Azur - Shazia Mirza

Just watched the Rome one with Matt Lucas. Probably the best one yet. Hilarious.

Lucas and Ayoade should be a comedy duo.

Just watched Dubai with Johnny Vegas. Absolutely unreal the prices that were mentioned for things. Doesn't seem like a place I'd like to go. But I would like to try the ice cream with real gold flakes, and of course the dune buggies.

I was in Dubai once, it's expensive, but the places I went we're more like London expensive then really extravagantly unaffordable. I didn't like the place much, because it's just scalding 40 degrees hot, I was there in May, and otherwise it just feels very business like cold, lacking atmosphere.

Well this is a television show so I'm sure they were treated well. The hotel was £8k per night. Each room had its own butler!

I just watched the Jo Brand one in Venice. It made me feel a bit sad that I've never been to Venice. I've wanted to go there for years. Also made me a bit sad that I've never done any of those typically romantic city breaks with my wife, such as Paris, Venice, etc.

But back to the show. It was pretty good. Jo Brand is definitely near the top of my list of females with great personalities. If I could take her personality and put it into a hot body = perfect woman. I've now completed the first two series' and almost the third as well.

I've done a lot of the Italian ones recently for some reason. Naples, Rome, Venice, and now just watched Florence with Rebel Wilson. Pretty long episode but it was good. Not very funny but interesting.

I've just finished the last one that's on YouTube: Cote d'Azur - Shazia Mirza. Now I just have to wait for the rest to be uploaded.
