TV seems to be on the reboot/restart kick for old TV series, but are there any spinoffs, announced or not, that you'd like to see? The reason I ask is because I'm still hopelessly watching Modern Family. The show hasn't been peak good since maybe Seasons 4 or 5 and I don't think I've laughed since Season 7. The last two seasons have been especially awful. But I'm invested and I want to keep watching. That said, I noticed a really interesting scene at the end of the latest episode with Haley. And it made me think that I'd like to see Sarah Hyland get her own spinoff series from Modern Family. She has played the ditzy character for nine years, but it was probably one of the rare times that they've shown a little dimension to a character on the show (that wasn't just forced to provide their typical contemplative endings). I think I'd be invested in a show where we see her play an advanced, grown up version of the character. And maybe it's just because every other kid on the show, despite being older, is still playing the same goddamn character with no growth at all. So any other spinoffs of your favorites you want to see? |

Wasn't The Bings flying around for sometime, or was that just a rumour? I'd love to see that. Maybe not now, but around the time that Joey first aired, it would've been cool. But I suppose they can never recapture the brilliance of Friends, so might as well not try. I'm generally not in favour of spin-offs. |
