The Young Pope (HBO)
The first episode is great. Instantly engaging and beautiful to an almost delirious degree. Jude Law is overdue for a major role. I am excited to watch the rest of the season.

Is anyone else watching this? I absolutely love it. It can be out there (one has to roll with abrupt tonal shifts, tangential thematic concerns, etc.), but in the best, most electric way. The combination of the stylized imagery and the (hyper-eclectic) music is astounding. Jude Law is definitely going to receive a wealth of nominations and awards in the near future.
