I was skeptical of the film, one of my favorites of recent years, becoming an American television series, but the pilot, executive produced by David Michôd and directed by John Wells (The Company Men, August: Osage County), is impressive and involving. Ellen Barkin as "Smurf" Cody is nice casting.

I loved the film. Wasn't sure this was going to be any good. I should have recorded the pilot. I'll have to see if it airs again.

We'll see where it goes but I caught the first two episodes. Indifferent at the moment but it's something to watch.

I like this show a lot so far. The characters are interesting and there's a constant layer of suspense throughout. Ellen Barkin and Shawn Hatosy are also GREAT.

Season finale tonight. I've highly enjoyed this series. The last episode was shocking with Catherine's death.

I've watched 5 episodes of season 2 so far. I thought the premiere was a little rocky but it's picked up. Shawn Hatosy is fantastic.

This series grew on me last summer and I'm really enjoying season 2 as well. I was against the idea of a tv show at first because I thought it was just unnecessary, especially an American version where everything is so dumbed down, but this cast definitely makes the roles their own with the standouts being Ellen Barkin and Shawn Hatosy who are equally fantastic.
