![]() The premiere tonight was absolutely excellent. I'm already a fan of Cush Jumbo's character and Margo Martindale seems like she'll be a good foil to Eli. I loved the plot twist involving his character as well. Also Jane Curtin was hilarious. "Are we going to have a scissors expert now?" ![]() |

This was pretty good, but the show still hasn't totally recovered from the sagged momentum it had in the latter half of season 6. It's kind of hard to tell what direction season 7 (aka the last season, probably?) is going. There are definite positives here, though. I really liked Cush Jumbo a lot. Of course, one of the best things about early Good Wife was the Alicia/Kalinda friendship, and it seems like they're giving Alicia an interesting new female relationship which is always OK with me. And anything that gives Alan Cumming more to do is good with me too. I hope Diane and Cary aren't shunted off to the side in B stories all season. Christine Baranski and Matt Czuchry really deserve better than that. |

I think this season has been on fire. Feels like classic TGW to me so far. |

I've greatly enjoyed it so far - it was a huge improvement just to get past with Lamond Bishop and Alicia's campaign run. |

WOW. This last episode was on fire! I can't think of another show that has stayed so strong over the course of its lifetime. So glad it lasted this long. It will be sad when it ends this season. |

Caught up tonight with the last two episodes and both were brilliant. |

I wish TGW wins an Emmy for its last season. It definitely deserved one. |

Ugh... NSA again? Why? Hopefully whatever they plan on doing again is done quick. That was one of the weakest stories on TGW in its history. |

Such a simple cliffhanger this last episode but it's wrecking my nerves. What will she dooooooooo???? TGW is really on fire this season. Everything is nearly as perfect as it gets. |

If The Good Wife is renewed for a season 8, it'll be without Robert & Michelle King. Time to wrap things up, CBS. I love this show but let it go with some dignity intact. http://tvline.com/2016/01/12/the-good-w ... g-leaving/ |

Ugh, yeah I don't like the sound of that. What worries me is that they're already in production on the 15th episode of the season - I hate when they don't give shows final notice going into their last years. |

Networks have become slow in renewing things. But I believe this is it for TGW. Amazing season so far. |

I'm catching up right now. Just watched the Iowa caucus episode and it was amazing. Alicia's breakdown at the beginning was phenomenal and then her on the campaign bus was hilarious. |

Also, I need a Marissa spinoff or Sarah Steele to get a series regular job playing a similar character because she is hands down my favorite recurring character ![]() |

This was my favorite television show for a number of years. I'll miss it when it's gone but I'm happy it's ending honestly. Especially since the Kings had a 7 season plan to begin with. |

I'm mostly just surprised they announced the ending with a Super Bowl spot. |

I'm gonna need, like, a few weeks to process this finale. I get they were going for full circle, but I don't know how to feel about Alicia ending up truly miserable and alone. I mean, Diane straight up smacked the fuck out of her! Did Alicia have this coming for her (in many ways) progressively declining moral fortitude over the course of the show? Until I do, I will say that I am well and truly going to miss The Good Wife. For the first five or so seasons, it was my favorite show on television bar none. It was intricately written, exquisitely well acted (La Margulies! Queen Baranski!), and the last remaining gasp of the dying breed of "prestige network drama." Sunday night TV won't be the same, IMO. |
