 The premiere wasn't bad. This show is so all over the place though so who knows how things will end up. I thought "How To Get Away With Murder" easily had the best of the premieres last night for TGIT though. I still want Huck to die though. I can't tolerate any scene he's in with his unbearable acting. |

Bellamy Young had her best acting on the show yte. She completetly owned this episode and should definitely be her Emmy tape. Papa Pope is back. lolol |

Y'all, Scandal is completely circling the drain these days. "Thwack!" was a jump the shark episode if there ever was one (I don't care how evil he was, Olivia still beat a handicapped stroke victim to death with a chair!), and last night's Jake-focused episode wasn't much better. Also, Papa Pope is the most exhausting character in TV history. Joe Morton is usually a fine actor, but I am physically pained by his ridiculous scenery chewing on this show. Both Scandal and Empire flopping around uselessly this season has made a serious dent in my quota of enjoyably trashy TV. |

Scandal has been SO BAD I think i might stop watching next season. Also to add something to libs, wasn't jake stalking and fingering Olivia in the dark just three episodes ago? Wasn't olivia spying on Jake? Why do they push so hard their love story when just three episodes ago these two were just AWFUL to each other. God this show god BAD after a great half season. |

Because this show's writing is unbelievably sloppy and doesn't make any sense. Shonda has been trying to make Jake, Papa Pope and B613 happen for YEARS and none of the fans like it. None! Yet Shonda doesn't care what the fans think and is just writing whatever the hell she feels like because she has a lady boner for Scott Foley or something. She doesn't seem to grasp why people liked Scandal in the first place. It's even more glaring because Grey's has been really good this season, HTGAWM is amazing, and The Catch is enjoyable and fun so far. Scandal is just exhausting. |

And the ratings show it. Scandal is nose diving while grey's is actually up from last season (and will never end at this rate). And i just remembred.... How many times has Olivia gone against Rowan? How many times has it worked? Why would it work now? It just irks me they've made Him basically a godlike untochable king that's far above anyone else on this show. And Olivia doesn't get it. She can't and won't defeat him. So please stop making this show a war between the two when Liv hasnt won a single battle, oh wait she won...... Only to crawl back to him when she was in trouble. Oh fuck this show. |

This show has never been great. Papa Pope has actually been one of the bright spots. I'd rather Huck or Quinn die since they suck and are dreadful actors. Then again, I'm behind so I can't attest to its quality now

I started watching this a couple of years ago over the summer based on the hype and OM-AMAZEBALLS-G reactions it was getting here. I think I got up to season 4. While the first season (and maybe second one) could pass as trashy though completely over the top fun, the third season was already getting too convoluted and try-hard in "I didn't not see that coming." way Shonda seems to think she can pull off effortlessly, except she beats plots into the ground for no apparent reason and make viewers lose interest so the big reveal (which most of the time is predictable anyway BTW) makes barely any impact. I don't remember if I got to season 4 or quit somewhere during. The last thing I remember was Olivia being held hostage on some fake Middle East set. The show was such a chore and really hard to watch so I dropped it. |
