I do not believe I have ever watched an original series on USA before, but this seems fun and stylish. I will definitely give it a chance.

It premieres on Wednesday, June 24th.

Yep I'll be watching this. Looks cool.
Wish it was on Netflix instead though so I can binge watch it.

I like the actors in this. Slater's always been a bit of a gem in movies.

What a pilot. Electrifying and incredibly well-acted and shot.

Will finish this tonight as I was drugged up last night. So far, so good.

The 2nd episode had so many twists I never saw coming.

Good to see Elliott's back story about his father and what Mr. Robot did to him at the end was :noway: :noway:

The ratings went up in week two. I hope it continues to rise.

In a way, I wish Mr. Robot would not turn out to be a Tyler Durden-type figment because they have telegraphed it so overtly.

Still loving the series. I particularly dig its "vibe." The camera angles, the music, the editorial rhythm, the general mood.

I love how the main plot of hacking Evil Corp is taking a backseat to what the characters are going through.

I've watched four episodes of this so far. It's great and different than I was expecting. It doesn't feel like a USA show at all and I'm surprised at what they're able to get away with. From a production standpoint it's absolutely stunning - the music, visuals and editing are all aces. The cast is also great and I find all the characters fascinating.

All caught up. The twist at the end of episode 8 was :noway: . I feel like I need to go rewatch the entire thing now.

I fucking love this show. Nothing else has me on the edge of my seat as much as each episode of this show does. Rami Malek deserves some Emmy love.

I mean, it was very clearly an homage to Fight Club and super self-aware.

USA Network has announced they will not be airing the season finale of Mr. Robot Wednesday evening as previously scheduled following a shooting in Virginia which left two WDBJ7 journalists dead.

“The previously filmed season finale of Mr. Robot contains a graphic scene similar in nature to today’s tragic events in Virginia,” the network said in a statement. “Out of respect to the victims, their families and colleagues, and our viewers, we are postponing tonight’s episode. Our thoughts go out to all those affected during this difficult time.”

Mr. Robot’s first season finale will now air Sept. 2 at 10 p.m. ET, and USA will rerun the season’s penultimate episode in the finale’s place this Wednesday.

Twenty-four-year-old reporter Alison Parker and 27-year-old photographer Adam Ward were shot to death during a live broadcast on Wednesday morning in Moneta, Virginia. The shooter was identified as Vester Lee Flanagan, a man who worked for WDBJ under the name Bryce Williams and was fired two years ago. Sheriff Bill Overton confirmed during a press conference on Wednesday afternoon that Flanagan died of “a self-inflicted gunshot wound.”

I'm pissed because I was excited for the finale all week, but everyone who's seen it has said this was the right move on USA's part so it's hard to criticize them for their decision.

A nice article on this series' striking aesthetic: http://www.slate.com/blogs/browbeat/201 ... raphy.html

Including the unconventional framing:
