The premiere was decent but the case sucked. This is a CW show, can they drop the procedural element entirely? I seriously can't even focus when the case stuff is on.

I'm always impressed how the show can provide plenty of laughs while still being very dramatic and tragic with its characters.

Keep feeling bad for Major.

The last episode was great. "I won't let anything happen to you." Aww. And Liv on frat boy brain was really funny.

Was the last episode heavy on case-of-the-week stuff? It's in my Hulu queue but I have to say of the 35+ shows I watch this show is close to being on the chopping block because of the procedural stuff.

Yes but less so than last week. I'm not crazy about the cases usually but like the characters and it's the stuff outside of Liv's work life that really works for me. Also the case this week was more fun. I enjoyed this episode more than the premiere. Give this episode a shot .

I don't really see the case of the week aspect going away though. Even Veronica Mars had mysteries each episode in addition to the ongoing ones.

And what the hell happened to Peyton? Is she ever coming back?

Rob Thomas said she is and will have a major presence this season.

But she originally wasn't going to be right because Aly's pilot didn't get picked up?

Yeah, she did that Chevy Chase pilot that didn't go so she's completely available now.

Binged the first season over the last few weeks... LOVE IT.

The first two episodes this season have been really good.

If it gets another season (it better) I really hope they don't hold it off until mid-season again. I don't care if it's shortened but I'd rather it premiere in the Fall.
