Not a single eye candy there.

Is Vince transgender? I have no idea what's going on in that picture.

So is the hottest but even she is bland compared to Brenda Lowe.

Hopefully its another great season!

So was a bitch, glad she went. Too bad she was the only mildly attractive one on the show.

Dan, lol. His self-righteous blue-collar-types-built-America rants are the worst.

This was a great premiere and a GREAT first tribal council.

I already like Carolyn a lot but I was sorta disappointed to see So get the boot because she could've been an epic villainness.

Dan is a mess.

Vince is a stage 5 clinger and already super creepy.

Shirin is going to win.

She sidestepped the whole "losing the challenge for the team" really well, since her name was never in serious contention to be voted out. And she seems quite perceptive. Could be.

Did Deaf Nina mean to betray Vince by reporting his concerns regarding Will's health? Or is she just super earnest/daft?

This season is really good so far. Nina really fucked it up though. Crazy seems to continue next week.

Yeah that was all Nina's fault. Although it's not like Feathers helped the situation by being weird and creepy lol.

Vince was annoying. Glad he's gone. Smart group of survivors, voting out all the annoying players first.

What show are y'all watching? Vince has got to be one of the worst players I have ever seen on this show. He is an overweight, old (middle age is old for TV), asthmatic, A-A The cool kids will have no use for him at some point this week or next. I assume they will lose the next 2 challenges. His only hope at this point is to make the merge and that is unlikely, unless the producers want to keep him around.

Doesns't matter what Nina does or does not say. His only hope was to trust Vince or fat Brotha goes home at some point soon.

Are you referring to Will?

Of course I am. There is no other fat black guy on the show is there? I typed in the wrong name, because everyone was referring to Vince. I watch the game and try to play out why a person in the middle position like him makes the decisions they do. People in the middle are just really bad at understanding they are in weaker positions than they really are like that blond couple from Michigan from last season.

Will is likable and will be cast out along with the "old" deaf lady this week or next unless a medical emergency takes him out before he can be voted out. He could work with Jen at some point to get rid of the other pretty young things, but I think Jen is a better player and would rather get rid of Will than Hali and is too attached to Joe to think clearly about getting rid of him before the merge. Hali has shown no game so far, while Will is charismatic and a threat to mesmorize the other dolts into taking him along believing he is no threat.

He could have controlled the tribe, if he had voted the other way and could have gotten rid of Vince whenever he wanted, but now is the old fat odd man out.

I feel bad for Shirin. I find her charming. They instantly interpret any enthusiasm or humor on her part as trying too hard, etc., etc.

The white-collar bros are the worst.

Post subject:  Re: Survivor: Worlds Apart

That was a weird episode, between Shirin becoming one with the monkey sex, the surprisingly bitter fighting on Blue Collar and the the nonsensical decision made by No Collars at the immunity challenge.

I was kinda relieved Nina was voted out tbh. I dunno how much more I could have taken her "woe is me" arc. Like, I'm sure she's a nice lady, but enough already

One thing is clear, though. Every season needs to start out with three tribes. Not two, not four. Three. It's the perfect amount for really letting you get to know everyone's personalities.

I would be fascinated by monkeys, too. They are in this exotic place, and most of them are still completely enthralled with their own bullshit.

Morons on Survivor always slaughter an egg-laying hen rather than a rooster. ;)

So much to unpack.

Personally, I thought the blindside of Max was really funny. He and Shirin, while their love for the game is admirable, would DRIVE ME ABSOLUTELY NUTS if I was playing with them.

What I don't love? The unequal distribution of strength between the two tribes. Meh.
