Re: SUPERGIRL TV Series Thread Watching the pilot right now and I find this endlessly likable. Melissa Benoist is perfect. The show lives and dies with her and she's magnificent so far. The whole thing is way too much fun that I ignore the cheesiest of the cheesy moments.

Re: SUPERGIRL TV Series Thread This show is interesting, because it's so earnest and well-intentioned that it's hard not to like. But the writing feels kind of stilted and childish more often than not; I hope they work on that. Benoist is still terrific.
I love Calista Flockhart as Cat Grant. The most entertaining part of the show for me.
Also, Winn is the worst.

Re: SUPERGIRL TV Series Thread Cat is also my favorite character and Calista Flockhart completely owns that role.
Melissa Benoist continues to be great here. I think she has a really sweet and believable chemistry with Mechad Brooks too.
It's not perfect but it's fun and I think it has a lot of potential.

Re: SUPERGIRL TV Series Thread I'm caught up on all except the latest episode. I still don't feel compelled to watch every week outside of it being a light, fluffy watch. I love Melissa, and Calista is aces, but I wish I had a little more need to watch.
That said, it's all very fun and enjoyable. Easily digestable.
