Tonight's episode is a total mindfuck. Justin Theroux seriously deserves an Emmy.

If this show doesn't get renewed for a third season I'll be so pissed. It is BRILLIANT and so much better than anything else HBO has on right now.

And the ending made me cry even when I had no clue what was going on for 90% of the episode. What the fuck. This show is so perfect.

It will be the most polarizing episode of this series to date, I expect. It is the most Lost-esque.

But I adored it. Poignant, hypnotic, and perfectly deranged.

This is one of my favorite seasons of television ever.

Oh, it 100% reminded me of "Lost." And I just love Kevin as a character so much - there are definite parallels to him and Jack Shephard. Ann Dowd and Justin Theroux killed it in that final scene in the well. So powerful.

It is a damn shame more people aren't watching and the renewal is in doubt. I think it will happen because this season has been critically adored but the fact that it's even in question is ridiculous.

The final two episodes look super intense.

I am very, very nervous re: the renewal/cancellation of this and The Knick.

I think both will make it to third seasons, but I'm getting a little concerned with this one because literally everyone involved with the show has no idea if it's coming back or not (Damon Lindelof, Justin Theroux and Mimi Leder have all done interviews where they seem clueless) and it's only got two episodes left this year.

Wow I didn't realize the ratings for this had such a horrible drop, it went from like 0.77 average to 0.3. And the critical buzz has been better. Ouch

This season has been so audacious and brilliant tbh. There's nothing else like this taking so many risks on TV.

Can this entire cast just win a collective Emmy? Liv Tyler is KILLING IT tonight - she's terrifying as hell.

The finale is going to be insane.

Liv Tyler was so fucking scary tonight - every scene she was in gave me chills. That part where she smiled when she found out the Garveys were in Texas filled me with dread, and that school bus scene was really hard to watch.

The last episode, good god. Who knew Liv Tyler could be so frightening? I audibly gasped when Meg dropped that grenade on the school bus and walked away.

This season is just...wow.

I honestly haven't been able to stop thinking about her performance in that episode - in a season of absolutely stunning performances hers might have blown me away the most. She truly scared the HELL out of me.

THIS IS INSANE.

Kevin better not be dead.

Regina King on the bridge? SOBBING.

THIS IS TOO MUCH OMG. This episode is flawless.

That ending. I'm crying.

Justin Theroux needs to win a goddamn Emmy for this season. Who else is going up against him?

Fantastic ending to a wild, wild season. A lot to contemplate and unravel.

I also believe it could easily function as a series finale, though I obviously hope to see a third season very much. But this hour-and-15-minute episode saw a lot of the core journeys (Kevin's, his family's, the Guilty Remnant's) through to a firm and profound place.

There needs to be a season 3 just because I love these characters/this cast so much. But I agree - the ending was beautiful and there's something about the image of Kevin crying tears of happiness that is oddly fitting.

I really do hope HBO makes a decision soon though. The actors' options expire in February. They'd be crazy not to renew it with the acclaim.

Also the Emmys need to recognize this show. Their acting puts the entire ensemble of their favorite prestige show "Game of Thrones" to shame.

Just watched the finale...I'm an emotional wreck!

I'm honestly exhausted by this season, in the best way possible. It was just...really profound, really challenging, and I really felt like I was watching something special.

I'm thrilled it's coming back for a third season, but if this had been the end, it would've been a perfect end.

Damon Lindelof has announced the final season will premiere in 2017.

My guess is with "Westworld" premiering in October and "Game of Thrones" likely staying put in its early spring slot this will premiere in January/February and take the spot "Vinyl" used to have.
