The Leftovers (HBO)
This seems intriguing and has a strong cast. I almost always give new HBO dramas a chance, so I will definitely tune into this.
The pilot airs Sunday, June 29th, at 10pm (EST).

I saw a preview of the pilot and I was amazed how great it was. The first half starts off slow but it makes a whole lot sense in the second half. I will give this a B+.

If I disliked Lost season 2-6, I would dislike this show. Correct?

Very atmospheric, engaging, exciting fascinating, frustrating, etc. pilot. I am eager to dig into the rest of the season.

Most self pretentious show on cable. The problem with Damon Lindelof is that he tries to channel David Lynch by putting together bizarre factions and occurances. Of course, we probably won't get any answers but I don't care because the situations are not even interesting.

This was incredibly atmospheric and really interesting. I have no idea if it'll be able to sustain this premise but I'll definitely keep watching for now.

Unexplained actions, scenes of inexplicable silences, and reflective gazes. He is trying his best to replicate David Lynch. How is that not self pretentious?

Re: The Leftovers (HBO)
The third episode is my favorite so far. I am a fan of Christopher Eccleston from his past film and television roles, and I dig the way this episode entirely focused on him and his character's history and psyche. By the time he entered the casino a second time, I was absolutely on the edge of my seat.

Yeah the pilot was a little shaky, although still very interesting, but the second and third episodes have been aces. The Leftovers is a keeper.

The show has been shit but I liked the third episode. They should devote more time to Jamison because the rest of the cast are boring and unlikable.

Loved tonight's episode. Everything with Laurie was aces tonight. Also Justin Theroux is fantastic on this series - he deserves an Emmy nomination.

That scene creeped me out mainly because of the editing and them showing the one lady with the screwdriver.

Last night's episode was excellent. The scene with Gladys's death at the beginning was terrifying. And Ann Dowd is making a great villain so far. I want Meg to leave the Guilty Remnant ASAP. Also, Justin Theroux was seriously fantastic last night - his scene with the dry cleaning attendant was so tense.

Agreed, this was even better than the one with the reverend. I had never heard of Carrie Coon prior to this show/her casting in Gone Girl, and now I can't wait to see her in the movie.

So many scenes in tonight's episode stressed me out - namely the opening scene with the fridge.
Justin Theroux is amazing on this show too. Him, Amy Brenneman, Carrie Coon and Ann Dowd should get Emmy attention.

Another amazing episode tonight. Justin Theroux, Ann Dowd, Carrie Coon and Amy Brenneman all deserve awards consideration for their work on this show.
I LOVED the final ten minutes and the scene between Kevin and Patti. Patti slicing her neck open with the glass shard was brutal and shocking, as well as the revelation that she was behind Gladys's murder.
Also really intrigued by Jill seeking refuge with the Guilty Remnant.
