Barry is the worst. Honestly. I just wish they would make this show fun and adventurous again instead of so dour all the time. Show us the personal lives of Caitlin and Cisco and what they do in their spare time! Give Iris things to do unrelated to Barry. Iris was so interesting and Candice Patton clearly had so much fun playing the Earth 2 cop version of her...I actually feel bad for her being saddled with this current iteration.

The cast is great and they have all the ingredients but the writers don't seem like they know what they're doing.

It does fall a lot on the writing. A lot of reused stories. And honestly, Grant doesn't seem to be having a great time doing the show. Not that it needs to be "fun" all the time, but it could learn a LOT from Supergirl.

If there ever was a filer episode. And a waste of crossover. And the idea was basically a rip off of "Once More With Feeling".

Savitar finally revealed after a long haul. But the final THREE?!?! episodes look like they're jamming literally everything awesome they can think of.

I'd just like to point out I was right about Savitar's identity. lol #tootingmyownhorn. Although I don't think I should brag because they made it really obvious with the way they dragged it out. One thing that is a constant is that Barry apparently sucks in every timeline and version of earth. Also, none of this makes any sense. And does anyone else find it really messed up that Iris is a complete bystander in the plotline of her own impending death? Like, give poor Candice Patton something to do already, show.

Also, Killer Frost should be the big bad next season. No more speedsters!

I prefer Gorilla Grodd as the main baddie, maybe Killer Frost as his right hand. In the comics, they did have a thing.

That was a great episode. Got some good character time from Iris and Killer Frost.

I DON'T KNOW HOW I FEEL.

I'm stoked that Caitlin didn't turn back to Caitlin. I'm excited that I assume Wally will be getting a LOT more time next season, which will hopefully mean a lot more time for Iris.

I wouldn't call the "twist" a cop-out, as I've read a few times. But having a multi-verse of Wells's kind of lessened the emotional impact of that death.

And I have NO clue what they're going to do with Barry. I hope it's not like this season where they touched on Flashpoint for the shortest time possible. But who knows how this will affect the ratings.

Meh. Just like the whole season.

Just started watching this recently so up to Season 2.

I'm enjoying this immensely as its fun and rarely drags. I've been trying to avoid these CW DC shows but this is much better than expected.

Season 1 and 2 are mostly great. Season 3 is very up and down. Season 4 so far has been really good, though not quite great.

Yep I agree with that. Seasons 1 and 2 are the best with Season 3 being very hit and miss. So far this season has been decent mostly because I do find the villain interesting, but their are still way too many damn filler episodes.

Yeah, the villain has been pretty menacing overall. And despite them screwing over Wally, I've liked what they've done with Dibny.

Ok great. I was worried that Season 2 would see a big drop off in quality but so far I'm enjoying it more than Season 1 even.

How do you rate Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow in comparison to this show? May consider watching them next.

I don't watch Arrow, mainly because I have a hard time catching up to shows I'm late on. Season 1 of Legends has some decent moments, but since then? It's my favorite of the CW bunch. It's a freaking blast, and is just so fun. Not for everyone, but they easily has the most leeway and get to spread their wings more than the others.

I’m only a few episodes into season 4, but I’m really not feeling it. Just seems like same ole, same ole. They really should have killed Iris to give the show a much needed energy boost. Letting her live throughout all that sapped the dramatic tension out of it. Actions have no consequences on The Flash.

Have finished seasons 1 and 2 (loved both especially the first) and agree that Season 3 so far is a bit hit and miss and we're losing a bit of interest. Will continue with it though as keen to see what happens.

I think it was mentioned before but if they cut back on the episode count it may help make the show even better. That said - I was expecting to get bored with 23 episode seasons but its such a fun show i was rarely bored. Even as a Marvel/Netflix series whore - they tend to drag in areas more and they are only 12-13 episode seasons!

Crisis on Infinite Earths is coming. Some of the crossover stars returning:

TOM WELLING - Clark Kent (maybe also Superman)
Brandon Routh - Kingdom Come Superman (also the Atom)
Tyler Hoechlin - Superman
Burt Ward - Possibly a retired Robin?
Kevin Conroy - Bruce Wayne (possibly Batman as well?)

It's been really good so far. Lots of storylines, but they've all converged pretty well. Lot of people didn't like what they did with Conroy, but it's not like it's his animated version. It seemed like it was a continuation of that Frank Miller/Ben Affleck Batman.

Though they used the original Superman theme for Routh and it was *perfection*.

This is my fifth post (I'm eligible for the cash prize). When Clark Kent has health problems, he will regret giving up his powers in the Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover.
