That crossover episode was pretty weak IMO. I didn't give a shit at all about the villain and the whole thing with Cisco's girlfriend becoming Hawkgirl was kinda boring and uninteresting. Next weeks episode with Mark Hamill coming back looks so much better eventhough I'm sad it's the mid season finale.

Well that was pretty flippin awesome even if it was just a flippin awesome commercial. I'm glad I recorded both of them this week. The Arrow melodrama slowed things, but it couldn't keep the two parter from being great. Hawkman is like Jai Courtney but with a personality. Dude could have been huge if he was born a few years earlier lol. My favorite part of the episode was Barry's "do they ever enter a room normally" line in one scene and then "I like to speed into a room" in the next.

Was the chick in the red hood supposed to be Talia Al Ghul?

And can we organize a trade between shows? I'd give up Iris, Patty and two first round picks for Felicity and maybe Laurel's contract (her cat roar was so corny and out of place on the super serious Arrow). Felicity and Barry are the new Ted and Robin and they must hook up now.

They've been saying it a lot of Last Man on Earth along with shut the front door. I like them.

So this mid-season finale was excellent. Got me emotional at least 3 times. Joe and Barry KILLED it.

This show is still amazing.

Eh. It was OK. Wasn't impressed.

This episode was what we needed to help things get back on track.

Loved seeing all the actors get a chance to have some fun as their Earth 2 doppelgangers, especially Danielle Panabaker. Her Caitlin is an appealing character but she is always stuck with the show's boring, expository dialogue.

Poor Caitlin can't catch a break in her love life.

Caitlin on both Earth's has terrible love luck. She's now lost 3!!! lovers in less than 2 seasons. Ronnie twice and Jay once.

I was having suspicions that Jay was actually Zoom... but now I have no god damned clue. WHO IS THE GUY IN THE MASK?! WHO IS ZOOM?! WHO IS HUNTER ZOLOMON?!

Also, I'm so freaking stoked for KING SHARK to return.

Well I think the man in the mask is Jay (maybe from Earth 1 though). I think Earth 2 Jay is working with Zoom who is his twin brother Hunter Zolomon.

We've seen Earth 1 Jay though. In the park, on the bench, sitting and minding his own business.

There are too many Jay's.

There is/could be:

Hunter Zolomon on the park bench in Earth 1
Jay Garrick/Flash getting hand stabbed by Zoom
Jay Garrick? in the iron mask
Jay Garrick/Hunter Zolomon as Zoom

Could it be than Jay split himself in two and that's actually how he lost his speed? So one half Jay is in the iron mask captured by Zoom and the other half was on Earth 1 and is now heartstabbed by Zoom?

But why wouldn't the Jay we know have disclosed that to the team? "Hey, guys... I split myself in two and my other me is trapped in Zoom's lair"

Maybe he doesn't know?

The Earth 2 stuff was fun, but I am so hyped for next weeks episode with King Shark.

The Zoom reveal didn't make a lot of sense to me. So Zoom is apparently the Jay Garrick we've been watching this whole season, according to the Variety interview linked below, which means that the Jay that we saw got killed was...um. His Earth-1 doppelganger? I don't even understand how that works. Oh well.

Good episode on the whole, though.

The working theory is Jay has a twin on both worlds, Hunter Zolomon. Thus there would be 4 of the same guy.

Anyway...

I think this might be my favorite episode ever. I thought it was fantastic.
