They should replace Craig Ferguson with Craig Robinson.

Saddest news of the year. I'll make sure to watch Craig's new game show though to get my daily Craig fix.

Though whoever they get to take over The Late Late Show better keep the anti-late night routine going. I know they won't do it but someone like Anthony Jeselnik could keep that routine going with the show.

Oh most definitely. It's going to be a fun ride till Christmas.

Maybe Michael will stop being a racist during that time.

I feel like hiring a black person or a woman for the sake of diversity is obviously wrong. The funniest person for the job should be hired, regardless of skin color or gender. But I don't see it not being Chelsea Handler for some reason. She and CBS will wait for the storm to subside before announcing she's taking it. It's not high-profile, but I assume she's realizing now that she's never getting high-profile. It's too bad if she does get it as I don't see her handling it well, no pun intended.

Well with Community now cancelled I guess time to consider McHale a candidate.

Comedy Central is filling the Colbert void with The Minority Report With Larry Wilmore. I'm mixed on this. Wilmore is funny but I'm not seeing this work out long-term. Clever name though.

I feel like it's unofficially down to Joel McHale and Chelsea Handler for TLLS now.

Wilmore is hilarious in his brief appearances. He'll be great.

Norm Macdonald seems to think Joel McHale will be getting the Late Late Show.

I really hope Joel gets it. I think he would keep the anti-talk show thing going in his own way. Whoever gets it has to keep that format alive. Aside from Conan and Craig, I occasionally watch Seth Meyers but while he's a likable guy and his style with the guests is comfortable and not forced like Fallon, his show suffers from being TOO MUCH like a regular talk show. Plus the writers that appear on air are awful.

Also, TBS extended Conan through 2018.

TBS has canceled 'The Pete Holmes Show'. Final episode airs June 5th.

She'll host her own show... on Netflix!

What a strangely interesting idea. I want to hate it, but can't help thinking it's a decent idea. I still don't know what the barriers are for success on Netflix.

If it exists, it's successful on Netflix.

Netflix doesn't have limits to when they can release a new season of a show, though. So... They have that going for them.

I get their binge-watching thing but they can theoretically only release one new show a week, right?

I would think that's the plan. But doing it this way, she can talk about whatever she wants, which should be GOLD.

Late Show With Stephen Colbert will remain in NY.

I love that Conan got royally fucked by moving to LA. Suddenly it's better to move to/stay in New York.

If you didn't know, Craig Ferguson isn't leaving TV when done with The Late Late Show as he is hosting the new game show Celebrity Name Game. Here's a teaser for it and it premieres September 22.



Looks like a lot of fun and while Ferguson will have to tamper down his act a little bit, it looks like he'll still be just as funny.

Well if he cuts the interview to 7 minutes (no way he does two guests), nixes the opening chat with an audience member and maybe does a mix of monologue with tweets and anything else he's going to do, it should fill 22 minutes nicely.

I just hope he keeps the same style and format. Michael the Racist will be the showrunner as well. If Josh Robert Thompson was interested in coming, would they be able to keep Geoff, or is that strictly CBS's? I know it would be nice to see Craig do something different, but I sure would miss Geoff/Josh.

I read that Geoff and Secretariat are coming too. So basically it's the same show, but hopefully Craig gives a damn this time.

I hope Sex Turtle remains a thing for the rest of Craig's run. Hilarious. I guess it's official that December 19th is the last show.

Also, Seth Meyers' new set is a lot better and I didn't mind the old one.
