"Parks and Recreation" (The Final Season)
Premieres tonight at 8PM with an hourlong premiere! SO excited for this show to be back. I've heard the premiere is hilarious.

Re: "Parks and Recreation" (Season 6)
I feel fairly confident this will be the last season of the show so I hope it goes out with a bang if that's the case.
I'm just now realizing just how much TV I have to watch on Thursday nights, ack. This, Michael J. Fox, Parenthood, Grey's, Scandal, Big Bang Theory, The Crazy Ones and Glee. And I might try out The Millers. And this isn't even factoring in Community when it comes back. Jesus.

Re: "Parks and Recreation" (Season 6)
Yeah, it's seriously an insane night of TV.
Right now I'm planning on a Parks / Millers / Crazy Ones / MJF / Parenthood live schedule while watching Glee / Grey's Anatomy / Vampire Diaries / Scandal on DVR/Hulu. That could definitely change though - and certainly will whenever Community ends up premiering.
I hope this isn't the last season though it wouldn't surprise me if it was. NBC's comedies this season aside from "MJF" are seriously HORRIBLE ("About A Boy" at midseason is good though) so if they end up canceling a lot of them this could skate by with another season.

The premiere was sooo good. The opening scene with Ron's wedding was HILARIOUS. And the ending was really sweet with April's letter. It was obvious that Chris Pratt had lost a ton of weight though in the London scenes

Chris Pratt was joking around w/ Adam Scott's character about losing 50 lbs by just not drinking beer for a month.

Ron: "Diane suggested we tag along to London for a honeymoon. I agreed because my love for her trumps my hatred for Europe. Then she hit a phase of morning sickness that knocked her for a loop and decided to stay home but she insisted I go and take pictures for her. All of this could have been avoided if we'd followed my plan for a honeymoon: a steak dinner, a glass of Lagavulin whiskey, vigorous lovemaking for 2 hours and we're both asleep by 8:30."

Re: "Parks and Recreation" (Season 6)
I miss my NBC comedy block from last season This show is so out of place with the current 'family comedy' lineup they seem to be going for now that I feel like it's going to get lost in the shuffle. I really do think NBC likes this show a lot though - they've always given it a lot of respect and exposure.

Also I missed this show. It makes me smile so much more than anything else on TV. And I'm still obsessed with Jean-Ralphio and Mona Lisa and how they interact with each other, I hate them so much lol (while loving them of course).

lol I loved when Chris, Ann and Tom were laughing when Jean Ralphio's dad said Tom took Mona Lisa's virginity.

Great episode last night! Loved Kristen Bell. DO NOT love that they are already setting the stage for Ann and Chris's departure from the series

Kristen Bell! I loved Tom and Donna's responses to Ron trying to get off the grid.
"Why is everyone else so bad at eating?"
And yes, setting up the impending departures of Rob Lowe and Rashida Jones is sad. On the bright side, I think the void left by Ann will mean more screen time for Donna.

Re: "Parks and Recreation" (Season 6)
The media really overhyped this, especially it being off the air in December when almost every show is anyway due to the holidays. Plus, it makes sense from a business standpoint. I think they realize that this show's audience is stable but not really going to grow and they REALLY need to fix that 9PM hour with "Sean" and especially "MJF." They're just trying to give both better lead ins so they'll get sampled more.

I hope it works to give the other two shows a boost in the long run. I actually enjoy Sean Saves The World. It's been pretty funny after the pilot episode.

Re: "Parks and Recreation" (Season 6)
I'm not expecting a huge bump for them but we'll see. "MJF" has potential.
"Parks" is probably the safest of the NBC comedy series right now in terms of renewal prospects.

Re: "Parks and Recreation" (Season 6)
I'm actually still hopeful that Parks will get a seventh season. It's not doing well in the ratings, but it's either tying or beating every other NBC show on the same evening and has the toughest slot to do it in (against BBT).
It's also easily their best comedy, so I'm all about the positive thoughts.

Tonight's episodes were both amazing but this tweet from Rashida later on (it was her last day on set as well as Rob Lowe's) almost made me cry https://twitter.com/iamrashidajones/sta ... 20/photo/1I don't want them to leave!

Re: "Parks and Recreation" (Season 6)
Great episodes last night!
I will be so upset if both this and "Mindy" are taken away from me next year. It will be a smaller-scale version of the great comedy slaughter of 2013 ("The Office," "30 Rock," "Happy Endings," "Ben and Kate" and "Don't Trust The B----" all canceled)

Re: "Parks and Recreation" (Season 6)
I'm so happy this show is back! Best episode I've seen this season! It was great to see Andy back! The best part of last night's episode was where Tom invented a tissue box where every time someone takes a tissue, it says something. I hope the show will still be great when Chris and Ann sadly leave.

The 100th episode was absolutely hysterical. So many great one liners.
Also yay for Amy's Globe win yesterday!

Seeing the cast's reaction to her win was one of the highlights of the night for me.
