Marcia Wallace (Edna Krabappel) of the Simpsons died last week. They've been doing some news stories on how The Simpsons said farewell. They changed the opening chalkboard gag to this with a quick moment of silence.



Then, the ended with this. Very nice. She was a great character actress.

She was a great talent. Long after I only knew the distinct voice, I discovered her wit on Match Game.

It's a nice touch to change the opening credits to recognise her death.
