20 years ago tonight, The X-Files debuted on FOX. Can't believe it's been that long. Other X-related milestones this year: 15 years since the first movie, 5 years since the second one. It still remains my favorite show of all time, for all its highs and lows.

Also, its way too early to restart X-files with a new cast. Maybe in another 10 years.

Millennium wasn't a spinoff. It did have resolution on The X-Files, but it didn't get spun off from The X-Files. Lone Gunmen, yes, but I meant more of a CSI: Miami/NY type spinoff, in that it's a spinoff in name only, not of characters. Actually, the only word that came to mind was "reboot", and I hate the word.
