Great start anxiously waiting for Sunday Corpse wrote: So, how does Cersei know Daenerys made Tyrion her Hand? I don't see how that information could have made its way from her inner circle, to her armies, to perhaps merchants, and finally to King's Landing/Cersei. She has many spies lol

Re: "Game of Thrones" Season 6
I knew it wouldn't. It will probably not even be released next year. So 7.5 to 8.5 years between books is ridiculous really.
Hopefully, HBO airs the final season next year and not 2019 so we can get some closure.

Oh my god, Cersei even the field pretty quickly.
"Invading. Casterly Rock" is the "invade Russia during Winter" of this great war. Lmao

And in this weeks least surprising news, Martin has confirmed WOW will not release this year.

Re: "Game of Thrones" Season 6
Fantastic episode! Its moving at a blistering pace but that's a good thing seeing that there aren't many episodes left.
Storylines are converging and characters are all meeting up and each major scene is a "who's who" of characters.

Re: "Game of Thrones" Season 6
The end battle was very confusingly shot. It was hard to tell who lived and died.
It was unclear that Ellaria, Tyene and Yara survived until I looked it up afterward.
RIP Obara and Nymeria. Too bad no one will miss them.

What a great episode. This season is easy to love, look forward to next episode.
I wonder how Euron found them at sea.

RIP Obara and Nymeria. Too bad no one will miss them. Why would Euron take Yara alive though? Cersei will want to torture Ellaria, and when shes done Tyene will inherit Dorne. Those two I get. Yara has no value as a hostage and Cersei has no grudge against her.

Re: "Game of Thrones" Season 6
Was Varys lying to Dany's face? He should be smart enough to know calling Dany the best choice to rule the people is BS when Jon Snow exists, and where were his little birds at to warn him about the Euron/Cersei alliance? I thought Varys would be a more powerful weapon for Dany than one of her dragons

Re: "Game of Thrones" Season 6
So far this season is firing on all cylinders. I can only imagine what Cersei has in store for Ellaria.. I'm sure it'll be a mountainous event.
I've thought it likely someone will betray Dany in some way, and last night's episode made Varys an unfortunate fair choice. A significant amount of time was spent on his loyalty, or lack thereof, last night; it's the most lines he's had in many seasons.
And, perhaps it's just a means to move the story along, but I still find it peculiar that Cersei knew of Dany selecting Tyrion to be her Hand last episode. Also, how did Qyburn know that Drogon was injured (via spears) in the fighting pit of Meereen? Someone close to Dany must be feeding him, and thus Cersei, this information unless it can all be explained by Qyburn now having control of all of Varys' little birds now (evidence suggests as such during last season's finale).

Re: "Game of Thrones" Season 6
I wonder if the sales of the boardgame have skyrocketed now that Dany basically plays on the same map with same figurines.
The second episode was great. It feels like the show is moving at a faster pace though. Could be quite because they are left to their own storytelling instincts instead of following the slow sprawling GRRM book version.

The books are/ were great for more back story, but I found the story development on screen often frustrating. That seems like a thing of the past now.

Re: "Game of Thrones" Season 6
So it took me a week to binge on Season 6, but... holy shit. This show just keeps getting better. Certain key points I knew about (Ramsay's death, Cersei taking the throne, Hodor's death), but a lot I didn't know (Hound's return, the multiple finale deaths, the backstory for Hodor). I really hope it can sustain for the last two seasons. It's hitting all the right marks. I remember watching the first two seasons and thinking it was a great show, but it didn't really elevate itself until the red wedding and beyond. Like Breaking Bad, it's an experience from start to finish. You have to let it digest and the payoff has been extraordinary.
Solid premiere (Sheeran aside). Haven't watched Sunday's yet, but I'm already dreading that this season is just 7 episodes.

Death picks
Melisandre (Dany no like witches who sacrifice children) Littlefinger (Arya coming) Grey Worm (Love isn't allowed) A dragon (Cersei will land some shots)

Either Ellaria or Olenna is going. Or maybe both. I think Tyene will live to be reunited with Bronn. And Cersei will probably be killed by Jaime in the finale

Re: "Game of Thrones" Season 6
So Olenna is dead. I have a feeling that either Tyene will be given the antidote by someone, or Ellaria will escape. No way she will kill both of them!
Great episode, best of the three so far.

Great episode, best of the three so far. she bombed of all her enemies in one big sweep. You think she doesn't get to kill the two bitches who were responsible for killing her children?

Re: "Game of Thrones" Season 6
Cersei is winning the war and the love of the people. I guess her biggest problem in Feast For Crows was not having enough enemies.
I hope Dany and Jon bang it out. Is it incest if you don't know that you are related?

Re: "Game of Thrones" Season 6
Olenna's words to Jamie will definitely have an impact on him. No not the "I want her to know it was me" but the "Cerdei's a disease".
She may break Cerdei's spell on him.
