All I want are nominations for Tatiana Maslany and Monica Potter. I know they'll never nominate the right comedies because they never do, but I just want those two names mentioned tomorrow.

I think the odds are fairly good for Potter and Maslany has a chance too.

Things I'm furious about:
-NEW GIRL TOTALLY SNUBBED WTF WTF WTF
-No Monica Potter :(
-Julianna Margulies snub

Plenty of good things, though. I like Anna Chlumsky/Tony Hale getting in for Veep, as well as the new nominations for Connie Britton and Kerry Washington!

Post Re: 2013 Emmy Nominations
As usual there's more to be pissed about than happy about here:

- New Girl getting snubbed is fucking ridiculous.
- Monica Potter getting snubbed is INFURIATING.
- Tatiana Maslany getting snubbed is bullshit.
- The Americans getting mostly snubbed is bullshit.
- Downton Abbey does not deserve that much love for season 3.
- No Parks noms aside from Amy Poehler
- Jane Lynch getting a supporting nomination for Glee when she did, like, nothing this season.

Good things though:

- I guess Kerry Washington getting nominated. Even though the show is subpar and overhyped she's easily the best thing on it.
- Connie Britton is always welcome.
- Vera Farmiga getting in
- Them giving 30 Rock a nice sendoff with a ton of nominations for its last year.
- The surprise Veep supporting nominations.

Yes we are in a golden age of TV. Yet these are the worst Emmy nominations I have ever seen.

The absolute sole bright spot is Veep's surprise support

Post Re: 2013 Emmy Nominations
Veep could be the Comedy spoiler given Hale and Chlumsky's surprise nominations. Not sure.

Glee's mini comeback is so weird (Supporting Actress, Directing and Guest Actress nods). Jane Lynch had NOTHING to do, why is she even nominated? Even beating out, like, Jessica Walter and others. Very lazy nomination.

The most egregious snubs for me have to be Monica Potter and Jake Johnson. Not happy they weren't nominated, not at all.

Post Re: 2013 Emmy Nominations
I'm all for the season 2 love for "Homeland." Never understood the backlash. "Q&A" rightfully got a lot of nominations.

And yes, the "Glee" resurgence is odd and reeks of laziness. This season was much better than 3 but the comeback is bizarre. I don't even remember any storylines involving Jane Lynch other than the shooting episode.

I'm hoping they give the Comedy Emmy to "30 Rock" personally. It had a brilliant last season and deserves it.

Libs had more screentime in season two of Homeland than Morena Baccarin did

I thought Morena Baccarin was very good last season. But her nomination shouldn't be at the expense of Monica Potter...which it probably was.

Also, Kerry Washington is the first black actor be nominated in the lead category series since 1995. Get it girl.

Do you watch Scandal, yoshue? You absolutely must start if you don't. Remember how deliciously over the top Revenge was at the beginning of the series? Scandal has supplanted it as that show, except on like steroids.

House of Lies is worse. I mean, I love Don Cheadle and I'm lifelong devoted to Matt LeBlanc because of Friends, but they were both nominated and NOT JAKE JOHNSON which is infuriating. At least Jon Cryer was punted out of the category finally.

Jessica Lange did an even better job than last season, I'd say she has it.

No nomination for Tatiana and they nominted the wrong supporting actress from GOT. Emilia never really impressed me and seems to fumble on her lines a bit at times. Michelle Fairley should have been nominated in her place. GOT has 16 nominations overall so its odds just went up big time for a chance to win best drama
