OK I apologize for being defensive, as we all know it's hard to grasp context/tone on the Internet.

It's true that every relationship is different, but healthy relationships balance bickering and arguing with loving moments. Aside from the episode earlier this season where they got engaged, Mitch and Cam rarely act like partners in love with each other, which is more of my problem. They passive aggressively fight about 95% of their time together, at least as presented on the show. Aside from the fact they never show affection for each other physically (which is a bigger issue in portraying gay couples on TV in itself), they're just way too combative to be believable as a loving couple.

I agree with that. They do not show enough romance/loving moments between them. But I don't think their level of bickering is necessarily unhealthy for a relationship.

But I also apologize if my statement came off a way I did not intend.

Your statement came off exactly the way you intended.

I think every episode this season has been extremely on point! Modern Family has definitely become the show I look forward to most every week.
I do disagree that Cam and Mitch wouldn't work in real life. They still seem a lot more compatible than Phil and Claire or even Jay and Gloria. Though, I do think all the couples are more or less, believable. The final scene in this week's episode between Cam and Mitch was absolute gold

It's somewhat surprising that Modern Family took 5 seasons to make a pun out of Manny's name. Great episode last night, though.

Last night's Christmas episode was one of the show's funniest in a very long time, I must say.

Phil trying to ascend the escalator after his treadmill marathon was one of the funniest things I've ever seen Ty Burrell do on this show.

There hasn't been a great Modern Family episode like this since Season 3, Episode 7: "Treehouse"!

I disagree. Season 4 was very funny.

Good episode last night.

Don't get me wrong, there were some great episodes in Season 4 especially "Diamond in the Rough", the season 4 premiere, and the second half of Season 4.

"Under Pressure" was one of the most surprising episodes of Modern Family. They hit some surprisingly rich and thematically deep emotional beats with Alex's storyline.

That might have been my favorite episode of the season. Felt weird without Luke or Alex tho.

Yep, I'm glad they've realized they don't need to stuff EVERY single cast member in every episode.

Yeah, it was a pretty solid episode. The Jay/Gloria/Chazz Palminteri/Jennifer Tilly storyline was kind of whatever, but I loved Haley turning the tables on Phil and Claire, and Mitch and Cam's entire awkward dinner.

Another fantastic episode. I can't believe how amazing the writing on this show is five seasons in.
Phil + drone=perfection.

Hmm, I actually thought this was one of the weaker episodes this season. The two before this one were great, though.

Terrific episode last night. For the first time in a little while, all of the plots were equally funny and none were really throwaway.

Also, Ty Burrell dressed as a woman is much more frightening than I could have imagined.

He's frightening dressed as a man.

I probably shouldn't admit this but I find him attractive in a dorky sort of way like Steve Carell.
