The best part of the show has been, and still is, Lily.

Had a rough time watching this last night. It was really, really average. And it had some really bad editing.

Life in Pieces is honestly the fresher, funnier version of Modern Family at this point.

Was it the one with Kelsey Grammer? The show is so on auto-pilot right now. Julie Bowen, Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Sarah Hyland try their best, but everyone else is either coasting or the shtick is getting old (I never thought I'd tire of Ty Burrell, but either Phil's writing is bad or he's trying too hard).

On the sadder note, what happened to Fred Willard? He was so frail looking.

I'll have to try that. Speechless is another excellent family comedy.

This week was the best episode. They shaked it up enough, and I actually laughed a good amount. Hopefully the 2nd half of the season can follow suit. Good to see Didi again. I think they can still do it, but they really have to leave the set dynamics of slightly different week to week module they have settled into.

Yes, that one. It was bad all around.

Thank goodness this is over. Just so hit or miss the last 2-3 seasons. The finale was very average. Glad everyone got an ending tho. I was hoping for at least one more hit episode, but nah. There was maybe 4-5 this whole season?

I binged this yesterday and it still stays good thanks to the cast carrying the bulk of comedic bits (though I think they only work in these settings as most of them are just average outside the show). Wasn't impressed with the finale as well but they were still able to pull off two scenes where they make you laugh and cry at the same time.
