I forget this show is still on sometimes
That could be because it airs in syndication so much now, but who knows. Though it's still pleasant, there hasn't really been a truly GREAT episode in a few seasons now.

So the premiere wasn't one of the best season premieres of the show but the show does a good job with their endings and tonight's was no different. Looks like we'll finally have the reveal at this season finale (and honestly by the way they are setting up that scene it feels like a series finale like scene). |

This was a really good premiere, the lame "Marshall and Lily see underwater swimming when people talk" thing aside. Looks like we know how Ted meets the mother. It only took eight seasons! lol |

I will say "The Funeral" was a fantastic music choice for tonight's ending. God, the more I think about it the more I love the ending to this episode. |

Side note: I left the TV on for 5 minutes after HIMYM and that was enough to realize I never want to watch Partners. It's not even entertaining smut like 2 Broke Girls is. |

I really liked the ending to the episode a lot. I think they should end it this year. It seems like it would come to a natural conclusion and dragging it out anymore would make it feel forced. |

I could see justification for a ninth season that involves Ted's courtship with The Mother. No more than that, though. Friends is my favorite show of all time and even I recognize that season 10 was pretty wheezy, HIMYM doesn't need 10 seasons either. |

Any more than that and it makes all this dragging out even more awkward, If we get the courtship thing, then it means we at least could've had a couple of seasons of them dating, the wedding and the birth of their kids. But considering they've kept it meeting-free all this time, it's only fit it ends that way. |

It was all right. Seems like it'll be even less comedy forced than last season, which had a few gems, but that's about it. It seems a little out of character that Ted wouldn't stay at Robin and Barney's wedding. |

Last night's episode was pretty mediocre other than the sweet flash forward ending (Barney saying he didn't need a prenup for Robin). |

I'm not liking this season too much yet. I haven't laughed much. The finale was the last episode I really laughed at, before that the Star Wars episode. I kind of don't like that they already said how much of a disaster Victoria is going to be and there still dating. And Ted feels relegated to the least important character on the show now. |

It's been somewhat of a tepid season so far but "Splitsville" was the best episode of the season. Keep it going, folks. Also, Cobie Smulders has taken the reins from NPH as the show's best performer at this point. I still love all of them but Smulders is consistently the standout now. |

I always hoped they brought Brad back, he was my favorite secondary character, but I'm not sure what was worst. Making him a complete idiot, or making him a villain. Either way, quite disappointing. |
