 Who has a DVR?
Just found out I'm getting DirecTV with a DVR. Who has a DVR? How do you like it? Are they easy to use? Anything else worth knowing?

Um, I couldn't live without mine. How do you think I watch so many shows?

I just signed or a new service on my area, AT&T U-verse, which will allow me to record 1 show in HD and 3 shows in standard definition at once while watching something else. 320 channels including all premium movie and sports channels for $99 a month.

 Re: Who has a DVR?
I like it. Just make sure you get an actual technician from DirecTV to come out and hook it up for you. I got some guy from Circuit City/Firedog to come out and hook up both my DirecTV and PS3 so the HD could properly come in on both and he clearly had no idea what the fuck he was doing. That and he was out in 10 minutes so he clearly didn't care. I had to fix everything myself.
Now that it's working though it's fantastic. It helps me catch up on some movies that I missed.
