some choices of shows that I sometimes catch on cable
Twilight Zone (brilliant stories) Star Trek: The Next Generation News Radio (love Phil Hartman) Addams Family (cause they are crazy....) Married with Children ( all except the later ones - liked the earlier ones before they feeling turned Al into a mess) Still Standing ( the father is a cool guy - just likes his couch, food & beer and makes fun of his kids) All in the Family Seinfeld ( especially if it a George lead episode )

My favourite TV period is between 1989 to 2005 so basically the 90s. Though I also like the 70s and the 80s and also the 60s.
Not so keen on much now though other than Entourage and Mad Men.
On constant rotation for me (though mainly on dvd) are Seinfeld, Sopranos, Friends and Maude.

I chose 90s by alot because I catch Seinfeld, Roseann and Xfiles the most every now and then.
Another old show I like alot is I Love Lucy but I can watch that on dvd.

Seinfeld and Simpsons I still will watch whenever they're on.

The 90s would probably win with The X-Files, Seinfeld, Frasier, Friends, Newsradio and Classic Simpsons. But I have a surprising number of 70s TV I love too (All in the Family, The Jeffersons, M*A*S*H, Mary Tyler Moore).
