 Brothers & Sisters (Season 3)
Well apparently they filmed 5 episodes for season 3 before they went on summer holidays last season. And the rumors/spoilers are starting to disappoint me. Sarah and Tommy are fighting. Kevin will keep his marriage a secret. Justin becomes drunk. Rebecca is concerned. Rebecca becomes rich. Robert will work for Kevin. Sarah and Saul leave Ojai Foods. Kevin begins to look for Ryan. Hopefully it isn't as bad as it sounds.

I can't wait Season two was a bit disappointing after how great season one was, but the acting continues to remain phenomenal and the storylines intriguing.

I agree that Season 2 was disappointing, but I still love the show and hope the third season improves. I will definitely be watching.

Re: Brothers & Sisters (Season 3)
Good season premiere. Although it did make me feel sort of depressed, because I felt like everyone ended the episode unhappy except for Justin and Rebecca.
But still, I'm glad to have the Walkers and their bickering back.

Re: Brothers & Sisters (Season 3)
P.S.:
I actually think Justin and Rebecca were super cute tonight?! I don't understand, because I felt so icked out for so long by the idea of them as a couple.
The second scene between Nora and Holly was ten kinds of awesome. I don't hate Holly as a villain or anything (in fact, I think she's one of the more intriguing characters on the show), but the way Nora just totally sucker-punched her in the gut was amazing.
I still hate Tommy and how Balthazar Getty limply attempts to act in the company of these fantastic actors. Can they please just kill him off for sweeps or something? The writers don't even try to make him likeable anymore.

Re: Brothers & Sisters (Season 3)
lol i agree Libs. I wouldn't be surprised if ABC want him off as well.
Very good season opener i thought. for some reason even though the drama always repeats itself, it still feels fresh. kinda feel sorry for Kevin. Nora/Holly best rivalry on television.

Yeah, I felt bad for Kevin, and Sarah. But it was a very good premiere. It seems like it will be a better season than the second.

Re: Brothers & Sisters (Season 3)
I thought it was a good opener. I think it definitely raised the stakes of the bickering because it seemed to divide the siblings sharply in several ways. I think it would be kind of great to have season season long arches where a couple of the siblings are actually very much at odds with each other. The closest thing we have had to that so far was the lame season 1 Tommy/Justin spat. I too felt bad for Sarah and Tommy but Sarah definitely had it coming. She was kind of a bitch at the retreat. And is it just me or did Kevin get like REALLLY cocky. Scotty was cute. I'm also sort of with Libs on the Justin/Rebecca story. I'm still a bit apprehensive of where this is going to go and how they're going to handle and even moreso, if the chemistry is going to be maintained, but I'm not so opposed to the plotline anymore.

Yeah Kevin was getting a little cocky, but it was adorable on him.

Re: Brothers & Sisters (Season 3)
Tonight's episode was great and better than the premiere. I loved the whole thing with the book, the phone call sequence was hilarious and the resolution was really effective with Sally Field delivering another fantastic performance. I'm loving the Rebecca-Justin relationship too, surprisingly. And I really can't stand Holly - she's so annoying and I hated what she did at the end.

Re: Brothers & Sisters (Season 3)
Another solid episode.
My favorite moment was Kitty and Nora's conversation when Nora read the dedication aloud. This show has always had phenomenal acting, and Calista Flockhart and Sally Field are prime examples of it.
The Justin-Rebecca romance is actually adorable, which I never thought I would say last season.
It appears they're full-on trying to move Holly into villain territory. Which I'm not sure is the right way to go, but we'll see.

Re: Brothers & Sisters (Season 3)
That was one of the best Brothers and Sisters episodes EVER!
The phone call/book reading was classic B&S at its best. The dinner was classic B&S at its best. The Kitty-Nora make-up was schmaltzy classic B&S melodrama at its best.
The icing on the cake? Justin was actually really cute, especially at the end.

I loved last night's episode and pretty much agree with what Thom said. It was better than the premiere, and I'm hating Holly this season as well.
And yeah, Justin was especially cute on last night's episode.

Re: Brothers & Sisters (Season 3)
Do you guys not like Holly because you're not supposed to like her or do you just hate the character like many hate Tommy?

Re: Brothers & Sisters (Season 3)
I was worried for two seconds that they were giving Elizabeth, or whatever Tommy's wife's name is, a pregnancy storyline, when she ran from the table. But then everyone else started spitting out the food, so I relaxed.

She seems competent, but they never give her anything to do and she's stuck married to Tommy.
