Actually, if these ratings hold, this will be the lowest-rated Super Bowl telecast since 1990.

Great for the Super Bowl, but was expected!!! The halftime show sucked though. One singer and he was old.

Considering that they put King of the Hill on a bad time slot, it still has good ratings and has not been cancelled so many times in an 8:30 spot unlike *cough*Family Guy*cough*. Reason why Family Guy has been brought back was because the nerds threatened to commit suicide upon cancellation

The *nerds*?

You do realize that Family Guy is the highest-selling TV show on DVD ever, don't you?

I guess you've never heard of the concept of "finding an audience."

He has a huge vendetta against Seth McFarlane shows (Family Guy and American Dad).

And Firefly sold a lot of copies? I don't recall that, but either way. If it sells as much (or more, perhaps) than The Simpsons on DVD, then it must be finding an audience. It is ALSO the highest rated Cartoon Network show ever, even if it was just repeats that were airing. All of this information adds up.

You mean by "audience" as to their jacket smelling of "hemp" or that they are wearing a Dragonball Z t-shirt underneath that jacket

And also, could it be that el_masked is suffering from Mr. X syndrome? Remember when Napolean Dynamite was sweeping the world off their feet (it seems that way, from all the damn people that talk about it at school), and I was one of the few who thought it was overrated and really, really boring? Looks like the curse is on you now! Don't worry, it's not all bad... just don't dwell on wondering if it's you or the rest of the world. It gets aggravating after a while.

Okay, you can put to rest the "reefers and nerds" theory anytime you like.

Thats harsh I dont single out any shows by a person named Seth Mcfarlane  . I do have a vendetta against unfunny shows that think they are funny, sorry that Family Guy & Cancelled Dad falls into that category  . Yes the Cartoon Network where they air mange cartoons from 8 years ago, in their state of mind Family Guy would easily be number 1 since it has an unfair advantage of being newer. Man why do they have to kick the yellow man's cartoon when they are down. So what exactly are these Family guy DVD sales since I see them near the coasterbin at Walmart right next to Leprechaun?

I liked Napolean Dynamite..you are on your own buddy
I feel bad for you. First you have to defend the Garner haters and now you have to defend against the Family Guy haters
Whats next, the Bill Murray haters?

The difference between Jennifer Garner and Family Guy on World of KJ is I'll probably find more Family Guy supporters than Jennifer Garner supporters.

And, Family Guy did outsell The Simpsons on DVD. What were the sales? Not positive on that.

Oh, and so you don't have to bother, I got your next counterpoint:

"Yeah, but The Simpsons is on five times a day, and eighty times a week!!! Of course Family Guy is going to sell better!"

I still would like to see the sale figures for both shows.
Oh and did you say Family guy supporters which would lead me to another stereotype joke

I thought that the posters here lead a clean of life of being drug free. I learn something new everyday. Dang I did not realize that about them. Thanks Mr X

Hopefully they can get some help in rehab before they move to stronger substance

These are the top selling tv shows on dvd of all time (according to Video Store Magazine):

Chapelle's Show S1- 2mil+
Simpsons S1- 1.9mil
Family Guy Vol 1- 1.7mil
Simpsons S2- 1.65mil
Sex and the City S1- 1.3mil
Simpsons S3- 1.3mil
Sex and the City S2- 1.2mil
Sopranos- 1.1mil
Family Guy Vol 2- 1.1mil
Friends S1- 1.1mil

For the record:
-I like Jennifer Garner, though not Elektra
-I like Family Guy most of the time, but no where near the Simpsons S4-S11
-Napolean Dynamite was awful, i would have fallen asleep had i not hated it so much
-I don't like Chapelle's show, Sex and the City, or the Sopranos AT ALL

Still it hasnt proved that it outsells Simpsons by alot. And Simpsons has been going on for more than a decade. You can already stop with the lame King of the Hill reference since I never made reference to it on dvd, BTTF or is that you main purpose is try to be a nuisance and repeat the same line over and over again
