Re: The "Swingtown" Thread (Season 1) The second episode was much better than the first one. The show has some kind of a irresistible charm. All of the actors/actresses are great.

Re: The "Swingtown" Thread (Season 1) I missed the second episode due to weather coverage... I liked the pilot, though. And it's weird hearing Jack Davenport with a non-British accent.

Re: The "Swingtown" Thread (Season 1) I saw the third episode yesterday. It's better than the first two. This is one good summer show. Molly Parker as Susan is a revelation.

Re: The "Swingtown" Thread (Season 1) I've seen the last episode. I really, REALLY enjoy this show. It's better than guilty pleasure.
There hasn't been a show with such a great cast for a long time. Everyone is literally wonderful in their performances.

Re: The "Swingtown" Thread (Season 1) I just saw the last episode. This was a great summer series. It started a bit slowly and just OKish, but it turned out to be a great relationship drama.
All of the cast is great, some of them have more than Emmy-worthy roles. Too bad when next Emmys come no on will remember the show...
And too bad Swingtown won't get a second season (though I'm kinda hoping that DirectTV/cable rumors are true).

Re: The "Swingtown" Thread (Season 1) so, I'm kinda hooked on this after watching the pilot and a few more minutes... Molly Parker and the rest of the cast are really good (I think I'm in love with Josh Hopkins  ). And apart from the ratings issue I really don't get the mixed reviews, heh. bah. It's always the more interesting ones that get cancelled...  I'm still hoping for a miracle of sorts. _________________

Though there was some buzz about jumping to cable. Yeah, the cast is great. Just a few episodes later you'll love all of them. The whole cast is so radiant. Swingtown was really good.
