Re: The "Heroes" Thread: Season 3
I am guessing That the destruction of the world is Adam's doing. He reminds me a lot of Ra's Ah Ghul and Vandal Savage so I could see him doing something like that, that goes even more terribly wrong. Maybe he uses Sylar to cause the destruction. Also I have a theory I think Adam is going to somehow get the Hatian on his side that will keep Sylar from being able to kill him and the other villains on his side. I also have a feeling Jessica will be back and will join up with Adam. As for the death I bet it is Elle since I see no purpose for her anymore.

This show is my crack. So bad for me but I can't help myself. I keep searching for that original high but it'll never return.

The sad thing for me is that will probably the only show outside of House I look forward to in the Fall. 24, Lost and Battlestar won't be on till spring. I guess there is Pushing Daisies.

Meh. Nothing there to create the slightest excitement. Season 2 truly destroyed any interest I had in this show.

Woohoo, saving the world from an apocalypse... again...
I still think they should go fantasy villain nuts and bring in some giant demons or something like that.

Yeah, I really find myself not caring about this show. I saw a commercial the other day and it really didn't look good. Heroes amazingly jumped the shark before season 1 was even over.

Re: The "Heroes" Thread: Season 3
I still think the problem is that Season 1 went for the whole shebang. I'm talking about an end of the world plot and the characters kind of maxed out their powers too early. What if Hiro didn't have complete use of the time displacement power but could only do a few minutes in season 1 and hours in season 2 and days in season 3, etc.

Re: The "Heroes" Thread: Season 3
Yeah they pushed everything on fast forward too much.
Also Claire's dad was the most effective villain in the first half of the first season. This got ruined when they made him a good guy. It was more fun when we were rooting for Claire to escape him.
And Mama Petrelli, Hiro's father and Adam having powers undermined the whole premise of the show that something radically new was happening.

Re: The "Heroes" Thread: Season 3
Death hasn't been much of a problem on Heroes since... Well since ever. They can kill off character and then bring him/her back in the next episode. Death is probably the most pointless thing in Heroes.

It looks a lot like Spider-Man 3.
Maybe there will be dance sequences... a la Cop Rock.

So, like.. this premieres tomorrow, and I've heard absolutely nothing about it. Where's the hype? Does no one care?

Which is what I've been looking forward to. I just want that fucking Indian doctor dead. Look I've even forgotten his name. I find it a bit disconcerting that Kristen Bell is going on the promo trail and she isn't even on the cast photos. booo.

I want to see it, but unlike at the start of the past two seasons, I'm not a little bit excited this time.
