The premiere is tonight after AI so the ratings should be good. It's second episode is also after Idol. I'll watch tonight.

I'll have to remember to set the Tivo. I was interested in this when I was reading about pilots last year, but we'll see how it actually translates on screen. The buzz surrounding it has not been good.

It's development has almost been like a movie in that it has been delayed more than once. Fox was originally hyping it as one of its top new series for the fall.

Of note: Lasse Hallstrom produces and directed the pilot.

I'll check but I don't think The Weinstein brothers have anything to do with it. ;)

I remain cautious with shows that are held back for so long. Notes From the Underbelly is the only recent show held back that I still find really, really good.

I don't like it. Just doesn't hold one's attention.

If you're interested, just watch it on Fox.com tomorrow. That way you don't have to download it.

I thought the first 15 minutes were a bit slow, but the rest was pretty good. Good enough that I'm definitely eager to catch next week's episode.

It's on again in 2 days after American Idol so you don't have to wait a week.

Crap, that's right! Thanks for reminding me. I didn't quite catch what they said on the promo... Awesome. Two new episodes in a week!

I just watched the first two episodes. It's not bad. Not the next greatest thing, and I doubt I'd bother watching it without a Tivo, but it held my attention.

A couple complaints, though. I hate his partner. She's really annoying and I can't figure out the point of her. Unless the doctor is all some sort of misdirection thing and his one is actually his new partner. Which I can totally see happening and would completely hate. Like, a lot.

Also, it felt like they just forgot that the doctor was trying to figure out where the missing body went. They didn't follow through on that.
