It is so incredibly nice to love a show that actually has a shot at any real noms. The Office was also snubbed. Since this is for all of 2007, I find that extremely weird. But I will definitely take PD over The Office at this point. |

I'm still unhappy that they lump in TV series, made-for-TV Movie and miniseries in the supporting categories. That's probably what screwed over Chi McBride and Kristen Chenoweth (among others). |

I wish that Erik King who played Doakes would have gotten a nomination in Dexter. And seems like Dexter is missing from the drama category but Im glad that Michael C Hall did get a nomination. They really really reallly need to stop kissing up to Shatner so much. I remember watching Boston LEgal finding his character unfunny and flat There also seems to be a certain guy thats missing from the comedic actor category and he always freaking wins |

I'm missing Desperate Housewives in the Best comedy A LOT. The show was fucking brilliant the last 9 episodes, and the latter part of season 3 was great also. Also Elizabeth Perkins deserved a nom much more than some of the other ladies in her category. I'm glad for Pusing Daisies. If it wins (which I doubt) it could bode well for the show to get another season. I know it's one of the most expensive on ABC and it can barely be called a hit show. |

Good to see Pushing Daisies in there (especially the actors). Mad Men, too. I was wondering whether the critical support would translate to any awards attention, especially since critics seem to be the only ones watching. Also nice to see Big Love sneak into Drama for a highly acclaimed season. Some Extras attention, too, which is always awesome. No Ugly Betty in Comedy, though. Shame, as the show's as strong as ever. And no Friday Night Lights, which I could have predicted, but still. |

The lack of Dexter love is a bit frustrating. But I like seeing shows like "Damages", "Mad Men" (which I have never watched), and new shows like "Pushing Daisies" get recognized. Seriously, I never thought Californication would be nominated. I thought Duchovny might even be a stretch. I figured it would be too sex-focused and predictable for the Globes. It probably will be by the time Emmy rolls around in July. Oh, and good for Christina Applegate. She's great on the show. I wish there would be more (or any at all!) recognition for Psych, Rescue Me, or It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. And Curb Your Enthusiasm is completely missing from the nominations. Too bad considering the show was pretty damn good this year. |

Oh, and Damages!! Very happy for that. Especially Rose Byrne. I was concerned that with all the attention Glenn Close gets (any attention for the show goes to her) that she would've been snubbed in the lead category. I say it was a good choice to go with her for supporting. Although, in my opinion, Rose Byrne is the lead character just as much as Glenn Close. Or moreso even. |
