I had a Grey's Anatomy marathon last week because I was depressed and ill. 31 episodes in 4 days, plus 4 episodes of Private Practice. I plan to have several marathons when school ends soon. I'm considering watching Six Feet Under from beginning to end and maybe a Ugly Betty marathon considering its available on DVD. I'm also considering How I Met Your Mother? and Boston Legal. Xmas is a time for Friends and That 70's Show which has remarkable repeat value. |

I usually have a marathon of 24, right before every new season begins. I also do one on Friday after Thanksgiving - I've done Weeds, Huff, classic Family Guy, classic Simpsons, and The 10th Kingdom (that Hallmark-NBC miniseries...) |

I'm about to start watching 24 right from the start and hopefully if I take my time, I'll be done by the premiere for Season 7. I'm still thinking about skipping Season 6, though. |

The first two seasons of Battlestar Galactica. Had never seen the show and sort of blind bought them, didn't expect to spend the next 3 days burning thru them they were so good!! |

Desperate Housewives S2 and S3 marathon. Five hours of sleep between seasons. Buffy S7 marathon - the local network that was showing Buffy only aired six seasons, so when I got the seveth season from Amazon, I went straight to my living room, turned on the DVD and played all 22 episodes. I also watched every season of 24 from the fourth one without a break, and also season one of ALIAS. Dead Like Me first season. That's all the marathons I can think of. |

I watched episodes 8-22 of Angel S3 in one day. It was a burner. Just too addicted, had to know what happened next. |

All of Band of Brothers in one day. That's the largest. |

Seinfeld, seasons one through three. I got through all the episodes in about a day and a half about a year ago. |

Last Memorial Weekend I watched 10 STRAIGHT episodes of Heroes until the finale. I watched six Feet Under from beginning to end last summer but wouldn't call it a marathon since it lasted 4 months. I've done the same with just about all the shows I catch up on. I did The Office 3 seasons in like 2 months this past summer. Weeds is really easy to do in one or two days but I like to spread it out because there is so little of it. I'm planning on having a LOST marathon with my best friend sometime between 3rd season dvd release and season 4 premiere. Not sure if it's gonna be all 3 seasons or just the 3rd season yet. |

Hmm, I recently rewatched the first five 24 seasons...still didn't get through the sixth, though. The longest marathon at once would probably be 10 episodes of 24 in a row on a single day. A friend of mine watched the entire second season of "24" within 36 hours. |

I watched like 12 episodes of Grey's Season 2 sometime last year when I was sick. And I got the Friends Complete Series box set for my birthday (yee-haw), so I'm sure I'll be marathon-ing with that in the near future. |

There are some shows though that I find it impossible to enjoy for long distances. Family Guy and Scrubs especially. |

Hereo's Season 1 one weekend back in October. It was exhausting but great. Did Family Guy all the seasons that were on DVD at the time, that my brother got for Christmas on Chrsitmas break. Friends marathons when ever they are on. |

I've marathoned a lot (lots of BtVS/Angel/Alias/Arrested Development/etc) but the one that jumps to mind as being just amazing was Six Feet Under. I bought the complete series box set last summer, never having even seen an episode of the show, as someone who knows my tastes recommended that I just buy it because I'll love it. I sure did love it, and for the 8 days (including the day I purchased it) I did nothing but go to work and then watch Six Feet Under. I finished the series on day 6 and then spent the next 2 days doing all the special features. That was an awesome week. It was pretty much a farewell to the marathon, as I haven't really done one at all since then. That part of my life is over, so that was a nice way to end it. |

Started a mini one last night. I watched the first 10 episodes of Two and a Half Men. I watch what's left of season one tonight and tomorrow. |

I remember when the first season of Desperate Housewives came out on DVD, I watched the entire season in about two days total in order to gear up for the S2 premiere. |

They are bloody good arent they. I just started on the mini-series and the first 3 or 4 eps of Season 1. Great stuff. |

Roid wrote: Band of Brothers, Carnivale, and Taken when they were on dvd Im thinking of getting Carnivale as ive heard good things about it. Band of Brothers ive had sitting in my shelf for four years and still not watched it. Looks like that may change soon. Ive sat through a dozen or so episodes of Friends and Seinfeld. And maybe seven or so episodes of 24 in a row. |
