Debuts tonight @ 9/8 Central on The CW.

From the Josh Schwartz, creator of The OC.

Starring:

Blake Lively
Leighton Meester
Chace Crawford
Taylor Momsen
Matthew Settle
Penn Badgley

I'm excited to watch it as many critics have called it one of the best new shows of the season.

I watched the pilot online the other day. It was really good and has the potential to becoming quite addicting. While it isn't as phenomenal as The OC was right off the bat, it has a lot of potential and I hope it sticks around.

I liked the pilot. This show is definitely filling The O.C. void.

Just to let everyone know, while this show is very good, Josh Schwartz's other new series Chuck is about a million times better

Chuck looks stupid.

It's hilarious, action-packed, exciting, sweet and romantic. Not to mention it's incredibly well-written and the cast is excellent. It's my favorite new show of the season at the moment.

If I want action, I'll watch a movie where they have the budget to do it right.

The only action show I plan on watching is the Terminator TV series as I love the films.

It's playing a lot better on television than when I watched it online.

Here's an interesting interview with Josh Schwartz where he discusses this show, and how he will work with running two shows this season. He also discusses the many problems that occured behind the scenes of The O.C., and what he would have changed if he had the opportunity.

Blake Lively was in The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, right? I remember thinking she was good in that film and she seems to be good on this show too.

That article is really good. I never like or watched The OC when it was on, but here on MuchMusic the Canadian MTV ( even though we have MTV Canada), its been picked up for syndication and I'm hooked but my main problem is and thank God it was answeredin that article is that by almost the end of the first season we had gone through so many plot lines what else were they going to do? I mean you had
Spoiler: show
Ryan And Marissa, Seth & Summer, Seth and Anna, Marissa OD, Marissa and um that psycho kid from the psychiatrist ( that part was great), Ryan and Tereasa, Seth's mom's sister, sister becomes stripper, Julie Cooper and Marissa's Ex
and that was all before the end of the season

Yeah, you should keep watching it. The second season is still great, the third season is kind of mediocre but gets great by the end, and the fourth season is absolutely phenomenal.

I remeber when
Spoiler: show
Marissa died
because everyone was loosing their shit over that, so i just watched it. But ya I'm really hooked. Gossip Girl is great too and it doesnt seem like it will burn out as fast.

I thought it was okay. Has some potential.

I think I will get tired of the narration pretty quickly though.

Heh. I agree with what the TWoP posters have been saying, Kristen Bell delivered her narration as if she were some bizarre late-night DJ or something. That's probably the spirit of the show, though.

If you make it to the fourth season (which at times can seem a bit challenging since, while the third season does get better, some of it is really awful), it's just incredibly rewarding. I'd even say that it was one of the best dramas on television in its last season. It had such a creative resurgance.

Even though I really enjoyed this show, I'll be DVR-ing it throughout the season due to Private Practice being on at the same time. I need my weekly Kate Walsh fix
