"So You Think You Can Dance" (Season 4)
Is anyone else watching the consistently awesome summer series "So You Think You Can Dance" this season? I've been a fan since season two. It's actually become a lot more entertaining than the series it is modeled after - "American Idol." Who is everyone rooting for this year? My favorite couples are Chelsie & Mark and Katee & Joshua. Both were awesome tonight and have really stood out every week this season.

I am rooting for the same people as you. Also, I have a soft spot for Gev. I think (as far as technique goes) this season has the best line-up yet.

I'm not a huge fan of Gev, but he's growing on me. I hated him during auditions and in the first week, but I'm actually starting to like him now. I can't stand Chris - he's probably my least favorite contestant currently. I'd agree about technique though. What some of the contestants are really lacking is the personality factor, as the judges have said many times. This season's biggest flaw so far is a lack of "memorable" people (I still clearly remember season two's contestants - such as Benji, Donyelle and Travis - and season three's contestants as well - Sabra, Danny, Lacey, etc.), which is why my favorite couples are standing out so much for me. Oh well, even when they aren't incredibly memorable I'd still say the contestants stand out more than any of the people on the most recent season of "Idol," half of which I've already forgotten.

Chelsie & Mark and Katee & Joshua remain my favorites after tonight's episode. I especially love Chelsie and Katee - both are PHENOMENAL.
Will is kind of overrated, IMO. He's great technically but has no personality whatsoever.
Courtney is growing on me every week.
I think Comfort and Thayne will definitely be going home tomorrow.

My favorite couple is probably Chelsie & Mark. This season is very good. Lots of great talent this year.
I have to agree that this show is much more entertaining than American Idol.
Am I the only one that can't stand Jessica. I don't like her. I like Comfort, but she and Thayne are probably going home tomorrow night.

Jessica is out of the competition due to a mysterious injury and Comfort is back in the competition. http://www.zap2it.com/tv/news/zap-kingsoyouthinkyoucandanceinjury,0,108804.story

I'm disappointed Joshua won, but I can't say I'm surprised since the whole thing seemed kind of rigged in his favor this year. I really wanted Katee to win, I felt she was definitely more deserving. And I can't believe Twitch was even in the top two - aside from the "Mercy" routine (which I LOVED) he never stood out to me. In a perfect world, I think the top four should have probably been Will, Katee, Joshua and Chelsie.

Shocked Katee was 3rd rather than.... oh you know, 1st?
I think the producers made up that 50K prize for her because they have to compensate for her being in 3rd.

Also, did anyone else find it weird that during the whole segment about the former contestants, last year's winner Sabra was nowhere to be seen? It was strange, considering they had other people from her season that were eliminated quite early on.

Yeah that was weird.... what's Sabra been up to these days anyway? Even Jesus/Chuy was there!
It was nice to see old contestants back and clips of their memorable dances.
