Now that I'm slowly beginning to appreciate this show, after having dismissed it for a longgggggg time, I was wondering about the best character. I haven't seen nearly enough episodes to pass judgement on the minor characters, but overall I think I'd go with Jerry himself. And maybe Elaine. She fascinates me. How about you? |

It's so tough to pick... it's like picking a favorite your favorite child. Of the side characters, I'd have to go with Putty. I love, love, love Putty. Newman is a close second, though. As for the main characters, I'll go with George. I appreciate George much more after watching Curb Your Enthusiasm and I can see so much of Larry David in him. I used to find him slightly annoying, but now I'd have to pick him by a very, very slight margin over the others. |

Using the obvious answer Kramer. He just makes every scene so much funnier and more interesting. I will never forget his quest to find the pigman. And so many more crazy storylines. |

Kramer, becaues the actor playing him took what could have been a stock stereotype crazy neighbor character and brought true charisma to the role. |

They're all so good. I find it impossible. One episode I'll be thinking "Man, Elaine is awesome. She's just too good." and then another episode I'll be raving about how amazing the actor playing Kramer is. And so on. I consider Seinfeld the best television show ever. It has top notch writing and top notch acting. Period. The show excelled in both those areas so much, and is really the reason I think the show is so damn good. PEACE, Mike. |

Kramer, though George isn't far behind. Those two are far ahead of the other two. |

Of the main characters, I agree with Tony, George. "It became very clear to me sitting out there today that every decision I've made in my entire life has been wrong. My life is the complete opposite of everything I want it to be. Every instinct I have, in every aspect of life, be it something to wear, something to eat - it's all been wrong." "Kramer goes to a fantasy camp? His whole life is a fantasy camp. People should plunk down $2000 to live like him for a week. Sleep, do nothing, fall ass-backwards into money, mooch food off your neighbors and have sex without dating... THAT'S a fantasy camp. " For side characters, I again agree with Tony, Putty was just awesome sa was Newman. "Ah, look, I? I'm sorry to bother you, but I'm a US postal worker and my mail truck was just ambushed by a band of backwoods mail-hating survivalists. " "Because the mail never stops. It just keeps coming and coming and coming. There's never a letup, It's relentless. Every day it piles up more and more, but the more you get out, the more it keeps coming. And then the bar code reader breaks. And then it's Publisher's Clearinghouse day." |

Opposite George was awesome, he starts doing well, elaine's life sucks, hysterically. I also loved the episode where George pretends to be a white supremicist, or one class George line "if it were socially acceptable, I'd drap myself in velvet." George is just so damn funny, the Marisa Tomei episode, Vandalay Industries. |

Kramer. In the supporting cast Georges parents were always good for a laugh as well. |

George. Kramer's a close second. Seinfeld is easily the greatest show ever created. |
