You know, its not a great show, especially in comparison to the original, but I thought Night Stalker deserved a better fate than the one it was dealt. Ugly.

I've only seen, like, 2 episodes, but it was moderately compelling.

Frankly, I'm surprised that "Night Stalker" is still on the air.

Again, Everybody Hates Chris drops a bit. Also, keep an eye on CSI and Desperate Housewives this week. CSI has the exact same rating that Housewives had last week in the 18-49 demographic, while Housewives has been dropping since its premiere. It'll be interesting to see if CSI wins in the three main ratings categories this week.

That is a very strong showing by CSI, last week it did 17.9/27.0, for 28,728,000 viewers. This week it brought in close to 30 million. At this point, it seems this is again CSI's year, with only Idol, or some other surprise, likely to have a chance at the top. And with Kelly Clarkson breaking out mainstream this year, that could really bring alot of credibility to the show, and help its ratings. But we'll see.

I assume this may be one of the final seasons where CSI is dominant. I give it a few more years, and then when the main cast starts leaving (I expect William Petersen to go first), it will likely drop. But, that doesn't mean it and its spinoffs won't live forever like Law and Order.

a few more years > what will that make about 10 seasons. Also from now, lots fo new series would like to stay on the air for a few more years.

Also, you know William Peterson is an Exec Prod so some kind of producer so I don't think he will be leaving that soon. Can you believe how much he must be making from the tv series and syndication.

Its added .

The last new episode garnered 6.36m viewers in the fast nationals [which grew to 6.55m in the finals]
This one was watched by 6.43m [which should also grow in the finals]

Still some of the shows lowest ratings ever. But can we really expect anything other? I hate you ABC. You've lost my vote.

Those are really low ratings for the OC. It just goes to show that everytime they put Jerri Ryan in a tv series, the ratings all go downhill from there. This is like 3/4 series where they Jerri help poison. Not that Im complaining about the possible demise of the OC

Wow, great for Survivor and CSI, ratings ratings this season!

Night Stalker has fallen 45% from its premiere. Buh-bye.

And CSI: NY got 19.2M viewers on Wednesday, its best ratings since its debut.

I doubt Nightstalker will be back after Sweeps.

CSI:NY "bred" with CSI: Miami for those ratings though.

Anyway the 8pm lowdown
1. Survivor 19.1 Million [one of if not THE best audience of the season]
2. Joey 8.11m / Will and Grace 8.92m [up]
3. Alias 6.43m [only just up]
4. The O.C - 5.7m [downnnn]
5. Smallvile 5.4m [down]
6. Everybody Hates Chris 5.2m / Love Inc 2.76m [down]

Total Viewers for the hour is over 50 Million.

Night Stalker - 3.9 Million viewers....eek - losing 40% from Alias.

What shows do you actually like?

Oh, also, Fox would do well to move the American Idol results show to Thursday, it would majorly boost O.C.'s ratings again.

Umm let's see. Family Guy, American Dad, The Simpsons, Lost, Scrubs, South Park. That's pretty much it. I do want to watch My Name is Earl though.

At least "Reunion" retained its ratings from last week. Fox had better let it run the entire season, just so the drama is played to its conclusion.
