They can thank the NFL for that one. Otherwise, it would be in the same level as Family Guy.

Glad to see some premieres ratings for a change. I can't believe I have some excitement about TV again, as it's been years since I've cared.

Simpsons season premiered yesterday????Dont they usually have their season premiere after Halloween since they did it for the past 10 seasons. It must of been very low key since I havent seen any commercials for it

The new FOX head of programming wanted to jumpstart the season before baseball playoffs kick in.

Very bad for the Simpsons. With ratings like these it means they can degrade the series even further for 10 more seasons.
