This is still one of my favorite covers they've ever done:

I'm also partial to "Faithfully" from the season 1 finale.

I wonder if anyone from the younger cast will actually be relevant in five years. I think Lea Michele, Chris Colfer, Dianna Agron and Naya Rivera are the only ones with gigs lined up (and Melissa Benoist, but I hated her on this show so I'm not counting her ;) ).

I can't believe this is f.i.n.a.l.l.y. ending tonight. I feel like I'm being released from captivity.

I used to love this show, but they lost me around the end of season 3. Still weird that it's ending...

Still love that performance.

The first half of the finale was fantastic. The final scene was perfect - I'm so glad they did it and it gives that scene some extra poignancy. I cried. I would have been OK if it ended right there.

On to part 2.

The last episode was clunkier than "2009" but I still highly enjoyed it. Would have liked to have seen more of Santana and Quinn but I knew they were only coming back for the last song so I was expecting it. Rachel's solo was great as was Mercedes's. And considering Ryan Murphy had the whole ending planned out before Cory Monteith's death I thought it wrapped everything up well.

I still think ending it with the "Don't Stop Believin'" number from the pilot would have been the best ending. It struck a huge emotional chord for me in the first half.

And with that, Libs breathed a sigh of relief. Glee is over. Forever. Somehow I stuck with this show for six years. It has been the most infuriating, problematic TV show I can ever remember watching regularly. It was, most of the time, a cataclysmic hot mess.

But, y'know, I kind of enjoyed the last 5 minutes with basically every single person who's ever been on the show showing up and doing the song/dance thing. Although it's hilarious the very last song ever performed was OneRepublic's "I Lived." Really?

Nothing ever topped the magic of the "Don't Stop Believin" number from the pilot.

I thought "2009" was a GREAT episode. Maybe one of the best they've ever done. It honestly should have been the last one - I don't know how someone couldn't have been moved by those last 5 minutes.

Despite all its problems I'll definitely miss this show and a few of the characters. I definitely had a sentimental attachment to it which is probably why I suffered through so many terrible episodes.

I can't believe this is over :P It's like a sense of relief but also sadness.

This must have done decently (at least for a Friday). #GleeFinale is still trending and #FinnHudson was trending earlier on Twitter. The former was the #1 topic for hours.

I thought 2009 was wafer-thin (there's no real plot; it's just scenes set around the pilot), but I got a real kick out of seeing Lea Michele play creepy-obsessed-bitchy Rachel again. And I absolutely teared up at the end.

About to start the finale, but no matter how it turns out I've realized that, as much as Glee went completely off the rails (and as much as it was a chore to watch, which it was for probably more than half its run), I'll still think fondly of it for those first 13 episodes.

A final note on this series. I watched the final episode and I liked how everything was wrapped up and they zipped in the future for most of the mains left on the show.

For me, I enjoyed it in the beginning but eventually began tuning out because of the Lynch's character. She was just so relentlessly hateful and annoying. I got tired of it and never came back. It did have it's moments and that's that.

Yeah. Those 13 episodes were really great. It's actually a shame what Glee turned into.

I'm in the middle of season 5 and just realized it's not the last season. The end of this show is a nightmare and I can't stop watching.

I was going to persevere this time, but I’ve not felt compelled to watch past season 2 episode 20 on Netflix.

Season 5 Funny Girl Opening Night...my life has become a living hell...the STD episode just passed and I have an STD on my soul...every song that is a singalong kills me. I also loved stranger things season 2.
