Re: The Walking Dead (Season 6)
Hated it.
This episode was nonsense and more reason why Rick should get killed off. How many more horrible decisions does he have to make ? Granted, pulling the truck over was Daryl's fault but then he wants to maybe bring this guy back. Then he ties hellishly loose knots. Instead of driving off after the guy is knocked off the truck they...chase him. They bring him back...this episode is bullshit.
Horribleness

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 6)
I loved everything with Rick and Daryl. I like Carl and Enid together. Hope she doesn't get offed, as the show needs a younger female character like a Beth that may not be the typical survivor.
Also, would have loved it if Michonne was instantly killed when kissing Rick. He is rivaling Jack Bauer for failed (read: fatal) romances.

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 6)
We needed a softer side to Michonne. When it shows up, it ends up being awkward against her normally business-like demeanor. This can work.

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 6)
The new issue of Entertainment Weekly covers The Walking Dead extensively, including a photoshoot with some of the show's dearly departed (more well-known characters like The Governor, Beth and Tyreese, as well as some I actually had forgotten, like Sophia and Jacqui). Save for one or two, most seemed still hurt about being killed off the show. Lawrence Gilliard Jr. in particular is upset in general over TV's insistence on killing characters. I do think that a show doesn't need to kill off characters to sustain interest, but... it's a zombie show. Anyone with a cursory knowledge of the zombie genre knows that people die.

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 6)
I liked this episode a lot more but once again wherever Rick goes people DIE. Every single place he goes people are dropping dead. He's bad luck. I hope he gets killed in the next year or two. I can't take it anymore. He is crazy and he is dictatorish.
As for the Hilltop, I liked the look of this community. They are truly at the mercy of any gangs though. I thought their leader was very arrogant and aggressive but the actor who is in the role is one I like so I'm glad he didn't die. I wasn't too happy with Maggie demanding half of everything they have because then they are no better than Negan's people. She should have made an alliance of mutual prosperity rather than this trade of protection for goods. I didn't like how she played that.
I miss Carol. She's vanished.
I think this fight with Negan is going to lead to some unfortunate deaths by the time it's all over.

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 6)
Well we're seriously overdo for some unfortunate deaths. I think it's common now for a season finale on TWD to promise big deaths but never delivering. This should be different. Glad to see Xander Berkeley in a great new role. Haven't seen much of him since George Mason on 24. Also... maybe spoiler? Lauren Cohan has a new shorter haircut, which she had on Talking Dead. Last time I saw someone with different hair (a pink swirl on Alexandra Breckenridge), it didn't work out.

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 6)
Also, I realized something I'm not keen on (which seems like one of many things, but I do love the show): TWD does not do romance well. I didn't like the little puppy love-esque knee rubbing and what-not between Rick and Michonne. It feels like a 10-year-old's interpretation of love and feeling.

In many of my relationships, it has gone almost exactly like that.

Abraham pretty much sealed his fate by the asshole way he broke it off with Rosita.

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 6)
I enjoyed that episode. It had nice action in it and it was entertaining. Carol reappeared. I wasn't happy with the whole capture of Carol and Maggie. Carol isn't one who seems like she would let herself get caught with her pants down like that.

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 6)
Absolutely loved this episode. Carol is amazing. I would love if they did some more back in time episodes like Lost did way back when. I remember we had a glimpse of Michonne's past but I'd like to see Carol's if it hasn't been already done. Forgive me if it has.

Oh my lord. Don't tell me mullet man caused this. I'm guessing he told whoever these people are where their home is like the stinking rat he's always been.

But of course, the weak don't last on TWD. Also, of all the useless characters the show could kill off, Denise wasn't one of them. Oh well.

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 6)
Carol is the complete opposite of that point. Eugene, Carl, Tara, and Gabriel too.
I'm glad she died. Her storyline felt so forced, and that speech was just stupid. Though that was still shocking. I also think Beth did get a strong final few episodes. That was such a heartbreaking death. Andrea was as well.
