Re: Prison Break - Season 4
William Fichtner has signed on to a TNT pilot. However, the role strictly relies on whether or not his character lives on Prison break OR if FOX renews Prison Break. So I figure it's more or less a Plan B, considering the ratings and the likelihood of another season.

Another solid, always interesting episode. Perhaps not enough T-Bag though. And Gretchen comes back with a vengeance!

Re: Prison Break - Season 4
EW.com's Michael Ausiello confirmed my thought that PB has already signed on for 22 episodes this season. At the worst, I could see FOX trimming it to 18, which is fine. I'd almost be fine if it ended after that, IF (BIG IF) FOX gives Terminator a chance elsewhere.

Re: Prison Break - Season 4
At this point, I don't see Fox canceling Prison Break before its conclusion since this is the final season anyhow. They obviously like the show given that they keep renewing it even though the ratings have decreased every season.
By the way, does anyone recall what the average ratings for the first season were?

Re: Prison Break - Season 4
Pretty big character death, eh? Even though I loved Badass Bellick from Season 1, he's seen a few character transformations through 2-4 and it's been fun all along. And this year, he was seriously reduced.
Very glad to see Mahone get closure with his son's death. That whole shot after he pushes Wyatt into the water was nice. I'm worried about his future though. They've wrapped up his side storyline, so... that just leaves him with Michael and the Gang's storyline. Sure hope he doesn't go anytime soon.

Re: Prison Break - Season 4
Pretty solid episode. Main plotlines seem to be moving towards a climax.
My main gripe is the handling of Bellick. Now, we all like Bellick. But... why do they? They all talked about him as if he wasn't a hateable prison guard in Season 1 and chasing them in Season 2. Then he was a bit of a coward in Season 3 until the end, when they all left him behind at the end with T-Bag and Lechero.
I'm glad they explained why Sucre cared about him. That was a nice touch. And I suppose the same can be said about Mahone. I just didn't see a DRAMATIC change in Bellick this season over the last three seasons, whereas Mahone has shown some serious character changes season-to-season.

Re: Prison Break - Season 4
Gretchen's outfit and T-Bag's reaction made for a great pre-credits scene.
Despite losing one of my favorite shows, I think I can live with the show ending this season. They've stretched a limited concept into four seasons (even if they cheated and only made two of the four seasons about breaking out of prison) and made me happy all the way through. I just hope the final body count isn't too high. I'd like to see most of these people left have a happy ending.

I just hope the final body count isn't too high. I'd like to see most of these people left have a happy ending. They'd better not kill off Sucre! He's my favorite, always has been. Hope Mahone gets a happy ending too. Oddly enough, Michael is one character I really wouldn't care to go off with Sara. The only reason I want him to have a happy ending is that I like his brother. Even though he's a scumbucket, I'm eager to see how they conclude T-Bag's storyline. Robert Knepper did a consistently awesome job with the role. Another thing to consider as the show winds down is which actors will go onto other things and which ones will fade. Wentworth Miller pretty much doesn't do anything else other than the show, hasn't since it started. Wonder if he will once it ends? Sucre (Amaury Nolasco) is probably the busiest actor with roles in Max Payne, Street Kings, Transformers, and The Benchwarmers. He's also starring in the upcoming thriller Armored with Matt Dillon, Laurence Fishburne, Skeet Ulrich, Milo Ventimiglia, and Jean Reno from the director of Vacancy. Dominic Purcell had a lead role in the crocodile movie Primeval, The Gravedancers, and stars in the upcoming Joel Schumacher horror movie Creek from Lionsgate and Gold Circle Films. Sarah Wayne Callies never did much before and likely won't after. She's not a very good actor, for one thing. William Fichtner already has a TNT TV series titled "Night and Day" lined up where he plays an ATF agent. Jodi Lyn O'Keefe has worked pretty regularly, mostly in TV, since her career began and that's likely to continue. She's good on the show. Robert Knepper costarred in Hitman last year and plays the villain in Transporter 3. Hopefully, he keeps getting roles where he gets to chew scenery like nobody's business I miss Christian He used to post about the current Fox Monday lineup. Now it seems like only two (myself being one) KJers watch both shows.

Next week's episode will most likely be the best of the season, and this season is the best so far.

Re: Prison Break - Season 4
Michael Rapaport annoys me. I like O'Keefe and hope we haven't seen the last of her. Tancredi doesn't cut it for female involvement. She has always bored me.
