I've always preferred her over Arya. Especially now after Arya's creepy episode 6 stuff.

Hopefully it’s better than the trashy second half of the seventh season.

Re: "Game of Thrones" Season 7 Discussion
I'm only through the first four episodes. I think the last one I watched was the very emotional reuniting of Arya and Sansa. So Emotional! I also loved them finally settling who killed Joffre though I think most already suspected Oleanna. I guess. It was delicious seeing her go...oh good and the stabbing Jaime one more time. On to the Greyjoy's...for them being known for their naval prowess how on earth could they be blinded like blind mice. That was a stretch. Theon being a coward again not so much. Also loved Arya dueling with Brianne and of course this episode ended with one of the dragon's getting shot down so I'm not sure what happens next but that whole battle was quite riveting a heart pounding. The dragon attack sequences were amazing.
Also watching this season makes me want to redo the whole damn show.

Re: "Game of Thrones" Season 7 Discussion
I'm now back to being up to date. First, Jon Snow is just foolish and terrible. He causes Daenerys to lose a dragon over a stupid plan to bring a white walker to Kings Landing. Like...really. Then he admits he swore allegiance to Dany already in front of Cersei while trying to get a truce. Now, she was gonna lie anyway but can this boy not play the game. I did like the moment of Jaime saying he didn't believe her when Cersei seemed to give the ok to kill him. I also thought it was an intense moment when she had the chance to also kill Tyrion but somehow chose not to. Back to that dragon that Snow helped deliver. I don't think those white walkers would have got through the great wall without the damn thing. I would hope the story ends w/o Dany losing all of her dragons. That would be a shame. I also hope Arya actually gets the chance to get her revenge on Cersei.

Re: "Game of Thrones" Season 7 Discussion
I thought HBO said the last season would be all feature-length episodes? The first two are 54 and 58 minutes. Episode 3 will be the longest at 82 minutes. I didn't realize that, by feature-length, the feature comparison would be Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo.
I wouldn't care except that they said it. Feature length should be at least 90-100 minutes.

Re: "Game of Thrones" Season 7 Discussion
I thought that was a rumour or did HBO really say that?
It is disappointing that the first two are under an hour though.

Re: "Game of Thrones" Season 7 Discussion
With so much to wrap up in just 6 episodes...I don't get that decision, I think this could be one of those underwhelming finales. Certainly highly watched but forgettable. Anyone remember Cheers? Friends? Quote: The final season of Game of Thrones will finally be arriving in April, but Variety reports that HBO chief Richard Plepler has already been lucky enough to have seen all six of season eight's episodes. "It's a spectacle," he teased. "The guys have done six movies. The reaction I had when watching them was, 'I'm watching a movie.'" That was in January and the article then mentioned the rumored 90 min episodes. Pfft.

Re: "Game of Thrones" Season 7 Discussion
So...nice to have GOT back, we got a lot of reunion and neatly furthering the story while closing the Jon is a Targaryen loop, but nothing really much happened also. Still, nice to see things unfolding.

Re: "Game of Thrones" Season 7 Discussion
Yes, a very setting the table episode creating more reunions and meetings. Five more episodes . I don't see how all this gets wrapped up nicely. I'm just hoping Snow doesn't get his dragon killed and that he doesn't act on this news about being the true king. He's hardly kingly.

Re: "Game of Thrones" Season 8 Discussion
This was a very bad start to the final season for Dany. I was predicting that she wouldn't make it to the end before this season began, but now I'm really feeling Dany won't sit on the Iron Throne (or co-rule), and I doubt she'll even survive.

Re: "Game of Thrones" Season 8 Discussion
I'm pretty sure Dany will die at the end. Probably saving the day but she will be gone nevertheless.
I enjoyed the episode. It was a reunion/kickstarter episode that sets the scene and parallels with episode 1 of season 1 on so many levels.

Re: "Game of Thrones" Season 8 Discussion
The episode indeed left many clue towards Dany's fate. It looks almost clear now. Either she will be killed (even Jon may kill her if she goes mad) or she will sacrifice herself in the end for the greater cause.

Re: "Game of Thrones" Season 8 Discussion
Well ya kind of nothing happened and little things did happen at the same time. I enjoyed the episode and various moments of course. Why Snow is even telling Dany the secret is beyond. He doesn't even want to be King so what's the point yet to show why he shouldn't be King. I'm ready for next week though. Apparently some youtuber describer next week's episode as being GOT's Helm's Deep episode. Can't wait. Somebody destroy that undead dragon please w/o losing any living ones.

That was a phenomenal set up episode for the battle. Really like when the characters are sitting around waiting for the battle that could kill them, and when some like Jorah and Brienne die it will be even more memorable

Yeah, some of the parts are nice, but we've just seen just 2 hours of friendly reunions and tying up some ends, hope for more excitement the next episode, looks like it it.
