Morgan and the lesbian were so funny!!!!!
Also, Danny sucks as a stay at home dad.

 Re: "The Mindy Project"
Finally got caught up on this - what a great string of episodes. I'm happy for the show that it's getting to take a bit of a darker path now that it's on Hulu.
I see they haven't announced the return date which seems odd that it's already mid-January.

 Re: "The Mindy Project"
They started filming right after the holidays. My guess is we'll get new episodes in late February/early March.

 Re: "The Mindy Project"
I like this show specially Kalling and the mid-season finale was REALLY nice. Great to see this back. I thought that this is ending season 4 and would start season 5 at its usual Sep/Oct date. Great to see that season 4 is continuing in April.

 Re: "The Mindy Project"
It was just renewed for season 5 (where it will hit over 100 episodes) like three weeks ago.

 Re: "The Mindy Project"
The season finale was fantastic and one of the best episodes of the season. And that cliffhanger! I'm still Danny/Mindy all the way though I wish he had told her about Greta Gerwig and their engagement - all of the scenes with them in the elevator were perfect as well as that last moment between them.
I really, really hope Chris Messina still has a presence on the show next season with his downgraded status. I remember they said Anna Camp was being downgraded to a 'recurring guest star' in season 1 and she was never seen again. The good thing is he was mentioned in the press release for the season 5 pickup so I'm holding out hope.

 Re: "The Mindy Project"
Finally caught up, I agree the last episode was one of the best of the season. I loved the elevator scene and Danny's flashbacks to his other relationships. Doesn't look like he'll have a big role next season which is too bad, but I really like Jody and Dillahunt's performance also, like Danny I appreciate the flaws/layers they've given him. As for Chris Messina while they could just be covering up the real reasons why he became recurring, in interviews they're making it sound like a lot of this was a creative decision that also happened to jive well with his desire to make some movies, rather than it all being his call. The Mindy Project is a spin on romantic comedies, and Mindy/Danny were a classic bickering, opposites attract couple that gets together. But in the romcom the film ends after the big kiss, while the show continued to go on years after that point, and ended up revealing that actually these people are too different and in Danny's case too stubbornly stuck to his ways and domineering about them, to be meant to stay together.
