Tyrant (FX)
This new drama debuts on FX on June 24th. The pilot is directed by David Yates (Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2), and the series is co-developed by Howard Gordon of 24 and Homeland fame.
It could definitely be solid. The advertising is intriguing.

I enjoyed the pilot a great deal. The character of the elder brother, perhaps inspired by Uday Hussein, is menacing and riveting.
