Anyone still buy/rent discs anymore? I’ve gone completely digital at this point. The convienence trumps all for me.

Redbox is much cheaper than renting online. I also get movies for free from the library. But I buy Blu-ray’s still just to collect basically. And for bonus features which don’t always come with a digital movie.

I was strictly a renter through iTunes up until the 9th. Then I figured out Redbox. It’s great, especially since everything I’ve rented has been free outside of $1 surcharge (explanation on the previous page), and I’ve caught up on a bunch of movies, though the selection is slightly limited. I wish I had looked into to it sooner.

I still buy for completeness. Physical+Digital. Plus I like nice editions like Criterion, Lenticular, some Steelbooks. Digital can vanish at any point in time in the future or get converted to subscription or whatever these companies come up with in terms of licensing.

Redbox has been around for years and used as such. Wish Netflix still included their mail part though because I can't stand how their service doesn't reveal everything you can watch. It's impossible to just browse stuff because they stop showing new stuff to pick n their interface.

I wish I had that much time to fit in that many movies again.

Anyway, I rented The Favourite and Green Book.

Last purchase was Bohemian Rhapsody.

Was going through movies I'd purchased to activate digital codes and was really annoyed that the one for Valerian no longer works because the freaks shut down the website to activate it even though there are months left before UV goes quits.

Venom 4K only 15$ at Amazon and Target right now. I'd been waiting for a sale on this for a long time.
