Post subject:  WoKJ's Beta has begun!

The beta of our new site has begun. There is a beta forum here for your comments, opinions, requests, and bug reports. We look forward to your feedback!

There is no initial timeline for how long we will be in beta. The site has holes right now, and frankly isn't complete, so we'll be working on that in the coming weeks. More details will follow on the status of the beta, as well as details on what we are attempting to accomplish with the beta. If you're interested in how this all came about, please read this.

That's it for now! This is really the closest I've come to giving this community the voice it rightfully deserves, so I look forward to your feedback on how it can be even better.

They did this once and it wuz a disassstuh.

Tho I believe there remained an option for it in the user control panel.

I defo like wut yer plans r, Eagle. But may I suggest a graphic designah, if you dont have one already? Tho I'm sure they don't just fall off trees so just "go get one willing 2 design purtah menus fer yu" aint as simple as it is to type it. But people like to see things that are visually stimulating and pleasing. It's tha basis of all humanity and success.

It looked better with the original board style they intended to use (Absolution). But during Alpha it seemed like people didn't like it (I sure as hell didn't :funny: ) and Eagle decided to go with a slightly altered Serenity style and according to him page load times are faster about a second with this style. Anyways, yeah, the background stick out too much with this board style, but that's something that can be easily changed.

Indeed, it was for the most part a bust with the majority, but I found that I liked the avatar on the right.

What's wrong with the red? It stands out a lot better than the yellowish-orange did.

sorry i havent commented, I havent explored the site that well but it does look much MUCH better!. Thanks for all the hard work you put in to the site :) .

Just one thing. Is the forum going to have different themes? because the dark background and all the white from the forum kind of bothers me :/
