Regarding characters I find difficult to fight against, it's mostly the smaller characters like Villager and Olimar.

Midgar is an awesome chaotic blast.

I have a real hard time beating other Little Macs despite Mac gave the most exploitable flaws in the game.

I pretty much only play Omega levels in 1 v 1 For Glory.

As for new stages I like the Castle from Street Fighter a lot as well as the Coliseum.

Bayonetta is pretty great. I've been playing her a lot since yesterday and have done very well. I find her gameplay fluid, and easy to control and land excellent combos.

Corrin is quite unique and more than "another sword character". I think he/she has a high learning curve, though, or maybe I'm just not too good with him/her right now. I can see Corrin becoming a top-tier character.

And the Umbra Clock Tower stage is beautiful and fun. The music selection is expansive and great, despite missing some great tracks from the original game (copyright issues, probably) and Moon River from the sequel.

Yeah, Corrin seems OP

Corrin is awesome, I love her stun gun move. Bayonetta is cool too, as is her stage. Both characters, like Cloud, have really bad recoveries though. I kill myself all the time with those 3. :(

I think it is weird how Little Mac and Dr Mario are condemned to low tier for his awful recovery, but Cloud gets a mid teir with arguably worse recovery options, and far weaker neutral game than LittleMac. Seems like fan bias.
